How to Visit

Enter through the Qianling Scenic Area Visitor Center rather than looking for a separate ticket office.
The Tomb of Prince Yide is within the Qianling Scenic Area ticket; the sightseeing shuttle is purchased separately.
Tip:Do not assume there is a separate tomb-chamber ticket at the entrance.

Take the shuttle to the Tomb of Prince Yide stop and allow for the descent and climb.
The route places it after the Tomb of Princess Yongtai & Qianling Museum and before the main Qianling mausoleum; walking between stops is substantial.
Tip:The tomb passage has slopes and steps, so visitors with limited mobility should assess whether the enclosed incline is suitable.

See the corridor and passage murals before continuing to the stone sarcophagus.
Look for the Que-Tower Procession mural, the leopard-taming and hawk-perching scenes, then the hipped-roof stone sarcophagus and its line carvings.
Tip:The murals displayed inside are reproductions, not originals remaining in their original position.

Leave the tomb passage and continue directly to the main Qianling mausoleum by shuttle.
This follows the visitor-center-to-Zhanghuai route in one direction.
Tip:Missing the shuttle and walking instead can make the main mausoleum and the Tomb of Prince Zhanghuai difficult to fit into the remaining time.
