Plan at a glance
Decide what you want from the visit
Chinese Korean Folk Park is in southern Yanji and is known for traditional Korean ethnic buildings used as backdrops for costume rental and travel photography. Allow about 2–3 hours if you plan to rent clothing, arrange styling or book a photographer; 30–50 minutes is enough for a quick walk to view the buildings. It is a better fit if photography is a main part of your visit.
Hours and budget
Current ticket listings show seasonal hours: 09:00–20:00 from April 7 to April 30, with last entry at 19:30; 09:00–21:00 from May 1 to October 7, with last entry at 20:30; and 09:00–20:00 from October 8 to December 31, with last entry at 19:30. No hours are listed for January 1 to April 6, and holiday schedules may differ, so check the date-specific ticket listing before you go. Admission, costume rental, styling, photography and other park experiences are priced separately.

Tickets and reservations
An adult ticket is listed at CNY 30; online discounts depend on the ticket provider. The park has been listed on the WeChat mini program 延吉行 (Yanji Xing), introduced by the Jilin Department of Culture and Tourism. Search for “延吉行” in WeChat, or check established ticketing platforms for current tickets. If you are booking with a foreign passport, confirm that the platform accepts your document and supports entry verification before paying.
Choose how long to stay
Allow 2–3 hours for costume photos, including time to choose an outfit, get styled and take pictures. These services are provided by experience shops in and around the park and cost extra. If you only want to see the buildings, a 30–50-minute walk focused on their exteriors is a better fit; you can leave photography services out of the plan.
Visiting at busy times
Popular photo spots may have queues, and photography teams use shared public areas. You can head to the spots you most want to photograph as the park opens. If a line is long, continue along the main path to other buildings and return later.
Build your day
Costume-photo route | about 2–3 hours
Enter through the main gate and follow the main path clockwise or counterclockwise. Possible photo stops include the traditional houses, earthenware jars and swing, Qixing Drum Tower, the lantern wall, the wall with “Yanji” lettering, thatched-roof pavilion and wooden corridor. Adjust the order to the crowds rather than staying only around the popular spots near the entrance.
Quick architecture walk | about 30–50 minutes
If you are not renting a costume or taking photos, make a quick circuit on the main path and focus on the grey-tiled roofs, white walls, wooden columns, steps and thatched-roof buildings. Check the schedule separately if you want to see a folk performance; this short route is planned around the architecture only.
Experiences and extra costs
Costume rental, styling and photography are separate services; ask each shop for its prices. The deer enclosure is listed at about CNY 30, and some swings or experience facilities may also charge separately. Check whether each activity is open and what it costs before including it in your budget.
Get there
To the main gate
The address is about 150 metres east of the Yannan Road (延南路) and Yanlong Road intersection in Yanji, Jilin Province; the usual entrance is the park’s main gate. From Yanji West Railway Station, you can take a taxi, or travel into the city by bus and use live directions for the final leg to the gate.
From Yanbian University
A taxi from the Yanbian University area takes about 10–15 minutes, depending on your pickup point and traffic. If you have a timed reservation, check live directions and allow for the actual road conditions.
Know before you go
What the park is like
Many buildings now house shops or cafés, so the visit is mainly about the traditional architectural setting and travel photography. For a more structured introduction to Korean ethnic history and culture, plan a separate museum or exhibition visit.
Photography and spending
Popular spots may have queues, and photography teams use public areas. Keep walkways clear while taking pictures. Costume rental, styling, photography, the deer enclosure and some swings or other activities are priced separately; check on site whether a service is available that day.
Check before setting out
Confirm the day’s hours, ticket price, discounts, reservation rules and whether the photography services you want are operating. Ctrip lists 17643336087 as a ticket enquiry number; confirm that it is still active before calling. If you hold a foreign passport, also confirm that it is accepted for both purchase and entry.
