Theme park and resort venues

Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom is a theme park with outdoor rides, indoor family attractions and live entertainment. The wider resort is described as having four venues and five themed areas; check your ticket to see which venues and attractions it covers.

Set aside a day for rides and queues

Allow a full day if you want to combine major outdoor rides, indoor attractions and shows, then adjust your plan to what is open. Children’s heights and health requirements, ride availability and show times can all affect the order of your visit.

Ticket types and benefits

An adult ticket has been listed at about CNY 238. Discounts offered in September 2026 applied only to specified dates or visitor groups, so they are not a current price guarantee. The resort has offered two-day unlimited entry with admission to Hailan Pearl Tower and a guided visit to Yanji Historical and Cultural Museum; check whether these benefits still apply to your ticket, along with reservation and voucher-redemption rules.

Choose an area for your group

Thrill-seekers can choose from outdoor roller coasters, a drop tower and a pendulum ride. Families with children can start with the indoor carousel or Time Tunnel ride, then consider the dolphin show or other attractions if they are operating. The indoor venue also has a 7D dome-screen experience; check each ride’s height and health requirements at the entrance.

Is an extra day worthwhile?

If your current ticket includes two-day entry and you want time for indoor attractions, outdoor rides and shows, split the visit across two days. With a one-day ticket, prioritise the attractions you most want to try. Confirm any included museum tour or Hailan Pearl Tower admission, reservation and voucher-redemption rules on the ticket you select.

Build your day

One-day route | outdoor rides, then indoor attractions

Choose a few outdoor rides that are open that day, then move indoors for family attractions or the dolphin show. Build in time for queues and waits between performances. If you want to stay for evening events, plan around the schedule published for your visit date rather than assuming they run on fixed weekdays.

A slower family visit | start indoors

With children in your group, first check which indoor attractions are open and their ride requirements. If an animal-interaction activity is operating that day, decide whether to join it under the on-site rules. Indoor options include the carousel and Time Tunnel; if a child does not meet one ride’s requirements, choose another open area.

Two-day route | check the ticket before splitting the visit

If your ticket confirms entry on two days, you can focus on outdoor rides on the first day and add an evening programme if one is scheduled, then take more time with indoor attractions and shows on the second. Use the on-site map to confirm venue locations and entrances; follow the ticket for reservations, voucher redemption and entry times.

Get there

To the main entrance

Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom is listed at No. 1520, 龙翔街 (Longxiang Street), Yanji. Search for “延吉恐龙王国” in your map app and use the theme park’s designated entrance. A taxi from Yanji West Railway Station takes about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Check the day’s bus routes and journey time in live navigation; if you have a timed entry, allow for transfers and road conditions.

Check zones and show times after arrival

After entering, first check which outdoor rides are open, the indoor show times and the closing time. The resort has several venues, so confirm the areas and entrances covered by your ticket and follow the on-site map.

Know before you go

Ride requirements and temporary closures

Many rides have height or health requirements; read the notice at each ride entrance before joining the queue. Weather or maintenance can temporarily stop an attraction. If that happens, follow the park’s directions and choose another area that is open.

Queues and performances

Popular rides may have queues on public holidays. Programme formats can include parades, dolphin shows, folk performances and water-screen fireworks displays, but what runs and when varies by date. Night-time events for the Yanbian anniversary ran only from September 2 to 5, 2026; they are not a regular show schedule. Check the programme for your visit date before entering.

Ticket coverage and on-site spending

Yanji Dinosaur Kingdom, Yanji Dinosaur Museum and the hot spring water park have separate products. If a theme park ticket lists Hailan Pearl Tower admission or a guided visit to Yanji Historical and Cultural Museum, use those benefits only for the venues and under the rules shown on that ticket. Check the day’s rules for outside food, lockers and parking on site or in the ticket listing.
