How to Visit
1

Enter from the East Gate

For a first visit, enter through the East Gate, visit the Wine Culture Museum first, then continue to Pengcheng Square and Jiusheng Mountain. This route covers the main sights in a simple order.

Tip:The area is large, and walking can be more tiring than expected. If time is short, do not try to include every small stop.
2

Treat it as an industrial tourism park

Wuliangye Scenic Area is not a normal city park. Separate the open visitor areas from production or restricted areas. Stay on the public route and do not enter closed sections.

Tip:Smoking bans and site rules inside the factory area should be followed strictly.
3

Allow 2-3 hours

If you only visit the museum, Pengcheng Square, and Jiusheng Mountain, 2-3 hours is usually enough. Add more time if you want photos, coffee, or souvenirs.

Tip:The Wine Culture Museum usually stops entry earlier than the wider park, so do not arrive too late in the afternoon.
4

Use taxi or self-driving transport

Yibin has no metro, so taxi, self-driving, or a hired car works best for Wuliangye Scenic Area. Self-driving entry and parking depend on on-site registration and management.

Tip:If you need to park outside the area, then use internal transport or walk, the route will take longer.
Highlights
  • The giant Wuliangye bottle building at Pengcheng Square is the most visible landmark in the scenic area.
  • Jiusheng Mountain gives a broad view of the Ten-Li Liquor City and is best in clear weather.
  • The Wine Culture Museum is the best place to understand Wuliangye history, brewing methods, and liquor culture.
  • Anle Spring is better for a short rest and garden-style photos.
  • Creative coffee, ice cream, and official souvenirs work well as light add-ons, not the main purpose of the visit.
Insider Tips

The scenic area is free to visit, but internal transport, creative products, and some experiences cost extra.

In summer, some factory-area roads have limited shade, so bring sun protection and water.

Do not assume ordinary visitors can enter production workshops. Most visits focus on open display areas.

If you plan to taste liquor, do it after you no longer need to drive.

Wuliangye Scenic Area and the Wine Culture Museum overlap in content, so it is easiest to visit them on the same day.
