Choosing among the three main productions
Railway Station and Li Jia Village both combine moving through the space with fixed viewing points. The former focuses on a railway-station story, while the latter centres on the Henan famine of 1942. Fantasy City uses rotating seats to tell a story that moves across time while the audience remains seated. The standard ticket includes only the one main production selected at purchase, so choose after checking the day's schedule and your interests.
Small-theatre priorities
Xue Huaiyi has more audience interaction, and the front rows usually require a queue of about one hour in advance. Old Courtyard combines Yu opera with theatre and uses live singing. Su Shi's Henan is a circular theatre where the audience sits around the performance and actors move close to the seats. Choose among these according to whether you want stronger interaction, traditional opera or close-up performance.
Park spaces and who it suits
The 100-metre Wheatfield Wall, Qiantai, Chair Array and the “I Am a Henan Person” rammed-earth wall are the main architectural and photo stops. The rammed-earth walls, underground courtyard homes and theatre spaces are worth observing at a slower pace. The park suits first-time visitors to Henan who are willing to spend a full day watching shows and walking long distances. If you dislike queues or interactive performances, prioritize small theatres with less queuing and seated viewing.

One day: small theatres first, then the main production
After opening, use the mini-program to check the map, show schedule and queue numbers. Deal with the small theatres with the longest queues in the morning, watch the main production selected on your ticket around midday, and arrange a popular small theatre such as Su Shi's Henan in the afternoon. The underground courtyard homes or Mailang Restaurant area can work for lunch.
Main-production choice and add-ons
The standard one-day ticket includes only the main production chosen at purchase. The other two can be scheduled only if same-day tickets remain and add-on sales are open. After arriving, check the mini-program schedule and decide whether to add another main production before fixing the small-theatre route.
1.5–2 days: spread out the shows and photography
Use the first day for the main production and small theatres. On the second day, add missed shows, photograph the Wheatfield Wall and other park buildings, and look for details in the underground courtyard homes and street areas. The Only Theatre Hotel near the park is an accommodation option that reduces repeated travel to central Zhengzhou.
Get there
From Zhengzhou East Railway Station
From Zhengzhou East Railway Station, take the intercity train to Lvboyuan Station. The listed reference journey is about five minutes and the fare about CNY 7. From the station, take a taxi for about 15 minutes at roughly CNY 17, or take Tour Bus 798. S606, Tour Bus 798 and other buses are listed options, but service frequency and stops follow the day's arrangements.
Taxi from the city and driving
A taxi from central Zhengzhou takes about 40–50 minutes and is listed at around CNY 40–60. If driving, navigate to Theatre Fantasy City: Only Henan; parking at the scenic area is free. After arriving, check the walking directions between the entrance, theatres and parking area before following the booked production schedule.

Queues for popular small theatres can exceed one hour. Before entering, get familiar with the official mini-program's electronic map, live queue numbers and show schedule. The programme list, add-on sales for main productions and opening arrangements can change, so keep the itinerary adjustable.
