Scope, location and entry
Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort refers to the Zhongshan Hot Spring Hotel and its spa resort in Yongmo Village, Sanxiang Town. The usual arrival point is the underground car park followed by the service hall. Quanyan Hot Spring is a separate business with different tickets, opening hours, accommodation, meals and pool arrangements; its 24-hour and package rules do not apply here.
Tickets, opening hours and visit planning
The regular adult day ticket is listed at around CNY 110, with promotional periods sometimes offering prices from around CNY 60; children under 1.2 metres are usually free. No reservation is normally required, so visitors can buy a ticket directly or use an online group-buy package. The resort is open 09:00–23:00, with last admission at 22:00, and is not open all night. Allow 3–4 hours for a half-day spa visit, or plan two days and one night if you are also booking accommodation and nearby village visits.

Gardens and hot-spring pools
The resort is built around a large garden and hillside setting rather than a simple indoor pool. The grounds cover about 2.2 square kilometres and include ponds, lawns and black swans. Pools such as the mint, coffee and coconut-milk pools add variety, but the pool list and maintenance status can change, so check which areas are open when you arrive.
Family facilities and accommodation
The resort has a children's water park, a roughly 2,500-square-metre spring-water swimming pool and a small family farm. These facilities suit families who want to combine soaking with play. If you book a room in the Central Garden or Waterside Garden areas, confirm the accommodation, meals and water facilities included in your booking; do not apply Quanyan Hot Spring's 18-hour package or 24-hour operation to this resort.
Build your day
A 3–4-hour half-day spa route
Park in the underground car park, enter through the service hall, choose from the open hot-spring pools, then use the third-floor lounge for the included light meal before returning. Not every pool or the main swimming pool is necessarily open at the same time. Ask which areas are operating before deciding whether to extend the visit.
A two-day, one-night stay
On day one, check in during the morning, use the hot springs and children's water park in the afternoon, and choose the Chinese restaurant or buffet dinner in the evening according to your booking. On day two, visit Yongmo Village and then take the “No Backtracking” route at Luosanmei Mountain before returning in the afternoon. This route assumes a stay; do not use it for a day ticket without checking the access rules.
Get there
Driving and public transport
Driving is the easiest option. From the Guangzhou–Shenzhen area, the drive takes about 1–1.5 hours; search for “Zhongshan Hot Spring Hotel Underground Parking.” By bus, travel to “Zhongshan Hot Spring Station (中山温泉站)” or “Sanxiang Coach Station (三乡客运站),” then walk or take a taxi into the resort. A taxi is easier when carrying swimwear or travelling with children.
Parking and movement inside the resort
The hotel has underground and surface parking, usually free of charge. Scan the parking code in the lobby before leaving. The grounds are spread out, so locate the service hall, your room and the pool areas first, then plan the walking order instead of treating the pools as if they were all beside the entrance.
Know before you go
Water temperature and closing time
Some pools are hot. Test the water first and shorten the soak if you are sensitive to heat or travelling with a young child. The resort closes and clears the grounds at 23:00, with last admission at 22:00. Visitors who mainly want late-night soaking should research Quanyan Hot Spring separately.
Meals and facility changes
The included light meal usually consists of items such as congee, corn, sweet potatoes and fruit. It is mainly a filling break rather than a full restaurant meal. Buffet service, hot-spring pools and the large swimming pool may be adjusted for venue work or maintenance, so ask the front desk before planning around a specific pool or meal. Snacks inside the resort can be expensive; bring water and a small amount of food if permitted.
What to bring and what to add nearby
Bring a swimsuit, a waterproof phone pouch and spare clothes. Shared towels may be available, but personal items are more convenient. Nearby options include Yongmo Village, Luosanmei Mountain and Sanxiang Market; if you spend several hours in the pools, avoid adding too many steep outdoor walks to the same day.
