Plan at a glance

Location, entry and opening hours

Quanyan Hot Spring is at 1 Xingquan Road, Quanyan Village, Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan. The usual entrance is the main lobby, and drivers can search for “Zhongshan Quanyan Hot Spring Parking.” The facility operates 24 hours, so it works for a five- to six-hour spa visit or an 18-hour package with an overnight stay. It is a separate business from Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort, with its own tickets and meal rules.

Ticket types and visit planning

Tickets are sold in five-hour and 18-hour formats. The five-hour ticket is mainly for groups, while individual visitors usually choose the 18-hour ticket. The 18-hour package is listed at around CNY 75–135 on ordinary days and normally includes three buffet meals; holiday packages are around CNY 200–500 and may include accommodation and three meals. Confirm the exact inclusions, entry time and departure deadline for the package you buy. Allow 5–6 hours for a half-day visit or use the full 18-hour period for an overnight stay.

Pools and the summer mist area

The resort has more than 50 pools, including milk-bubble, cave, rose, coconut-milk and red-wine pools, as well as a hot-spring waterfall and high-pressure water-therapy area. Pool temperatures and formats differ, and not every pool should be assumed to be open on every date. In summer, the cold-mist system and cold pool can make the grounds more comfortable; the change in perceived temperature may reach around 10°C, depending on weather and operation.

Family and rest facilities

The children's splash pool, water slides, ball pit and pedal boats suit family visits. After soaking, visitors can use the dry and wet steam rooms, heated stone beds and lounge areas. The resort also lists an e-sports room, KTV, a cinema and an all-day fruit bar, but access may depend on the ticket, time or area, so check the package boundaries before using them.

Build your day

A 5–6-hour half-day route

Enter in the afternoon, change and shower, then choose the open pools and spend about 15–20 minutes in each one. Have the buffet dinner, rest in the lounge and leave before your ticket period ends. If you are using a five-hour ticket, count changing, eating and departure time within the ticket window rather than calculating only the soaking time.

An 18-hour overnight route

On the first afternoon, enter, soak and have the buffet dinner. In the evening, use the cold-mist area if it is open, have the late-night meal and rest in the lounge; book a room separately if you want a private overnight stay. The next morning, use the pools, have breakfast, let children spend time in the family area and leave around midday. An 18-hour package is not an open-ended hotel stay.

A summer cooling route

For a summer midday arrival, first confirm whether the cold-mist and cold-pool areas are operating, then add the children's water slides or family pool. The mist system is seasonal and may be affected by weather or maintenance. If it is closed, switch to the regular pools and indoor rest areas rather than planning around it.

Get there

Driving and public transport

For driving, search for “Zhongshan Quanyan Hot Spring Parking.” Public transport can take you to a nearby stop, but there is still an internal road to the facility. A taxi or private car is more practical when carrying luggage or travelling with children; the main lobby is where admission and package checks are handled.

Parking in heavy rain

The resort has two free parking areas and spaces are usually easier to find on weekdays. During heavy rain, low areas near the annex and entrance may flood. Follow staff directions and move the car to higher, open ground; avoid muddy areas and low spots at the gate.

Know before you go

Facilities, hygiene and room expectations

The resort has been operating for many years, and some facilities may feel dated. Public pools can be less comfortable when crowded, and smoking around pool areas may affect the experience. If you book a room, compare the main building with the spring-view rooms before choosing an annex room; visitors looking for a private, polished spa experience should set expectations accordingly.

Meals and package boundaries

The four-meal buffet is part of some 18-hour packages, but food quality and seafood availability can vary. Check whether accommodation, each meal and the activities you want are included in your specific package. Swimwear, phone waterproofing and other small items are more expensive on site, so bring the essentials with you.

How it differs from Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort

Quanyan's 24-hour operation, 18-hour tickets, meals and some accommodation packages apply only to Quanyan Hot Spring. Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort closes at 23:00 and has different ticket, pool and meal arrangements. Plan the two as separate attractions and never use one operator's package to describe the other.
