Three ways to see the bridge
The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge crosses the Lingding Sea between Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao. On the Zhuhai side, the starting point is the Zhuhai Port of the bridge.
You can use Wangqiao Station for free long-distance views, join the bridge-island coach tour, or take a cruise from Xiangzhou Port to pass beneath the bridge.
Time, tickets and opening hours
The free viewing point needs no ticket or booking and is open all day. The coach tour usually runs from 9am to 4:30pm, with the final departure at 4:30pm.
Coach-tour admission is about CNY 188 for adults and CNY 128 for students and older visitors. Reserve one to three days ahead and bring your original ID card.

A free one-hour route
Go to P2 underground car park at Zhuhai Port or the passenger drop-off platform, then walk to Wangqiao Station on the third floor. From there you can see the bridge approach and the Macao-bound traffic area. Afterwards, drive or cycle along a section of Lovers' Road South for side views of the bridge and sea.
A first-time coach tour
Meet at the tourist inspection hall on the third floor of Port Plaza, pass border inspection and board the coach. The route crosses Jiuzhou Channel Bridge, Jianghai Channel Bridge and Qingzhou Channel Bridge, then passes through the undersea tunnel at about 40 metres below the surface.
At Blue Dolphin Island, allow about 75 minutes for the bridge-construction exhibition, the 120-step staircase and views towards Lantau Island. Return by the same route.
A photography route
At dawn, use Xianglu Bay Beach and a long lens for the Chinese-knot bridge tower and sunrise alignment. In the morning, go to the open rock areas near Jialin Mountain and Wanzi Xianren Temple for a higher view of the bridge and Macao skyline; return to Lovers' Road South near sunset for warmer light.

Look for the three main bridge towers
Jiuzhou Channel Bridge has twin sail towers, Jianghai Channel Bridge uses Chinese white dolphin motifs, and Qingzhou Channel Bridge has a Chinese-knot form. These are the key structures to look for from the coach tour or a clear coastal viewing point.
Treat the island tour as its own activity
The main value of the coach tour is Blue Dolphin Island and the bridge-construction exhibition, rather than only the views from the vehicle. Allow enough time for the shell-like island buildings, displays and the 120-step staircase.
Link the port to the coast carefully
After the coach tour, Port Plaza is convenient for a meal or break. If you want to continue to Lovers' Road, the Love Post Office, Zhuhai Fisher Girl and City Balcony, keep enough time for port procedures and transfers.
Get there
Driving, bus and ride-hailing
Drive to Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge Zhuhai Port P2 underground car park. The first three hours are free, then parking costs CNY 2 per 30 minutes.
Take a bus to Highway Port Hub stop, then go to the third floor for Wangqiao Station. Taxis can use the passenger drop-off platform; ride-hailing pickup is on basement level one.
Documents and reservations
Free viewing needs no reservation. The bridge-island coach tour requires only your original ID card, not a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao. If you plan to take the shuttle bus into Hong Kong, you must carry a valid permit with the required endorsement.
Know before you go
Boarding, seating and timing
Coach-tour departures are limited, especially on holidays. Border inspection stops about five minutes before departure, so arrive at the ticket gate 10-15 minutes early; late arrivals may need to refund or rebook.
Once on board, choose a right-side window seat if possible, ideally around the second row. Left-side views are more limited, and lower-deck seats give a poorer view of the bridge structure.
Weather, safety and parking
The coast can be windy, so bring a light layer. Haze, cloud and low visibility reduce bridge and sea views; clear days are better for the viewing route. Drones are prohibited because of the area's proximity to Hong Kong Airport.
P2 underground car park is better value than the ground-level car park, which costs CNY 5 per 30 minutes.
Food and onward plans
Port Plaza has quick meals and coffee shops for waiting or refuelling after the tour. For an evening plan, use City Balcony for a meal or Xiawan Night Market for late food.
