Location, entrances and opening hours
Jingshan Park is at 1 Haibin North Road, Jida, beside City Balcony and Lovers' Road. Enter either through the main gate on Haibin North Road or through the north side of City Balcony, where an elevator leads directly to the cable-car hall.
The park itself is free and does not require booking; the cable car and slide are paid separately. The park is open all day. The cable car and slide run Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 8pm, with ticket sales ending at 7:30pm; on Mondays they run from 9am to 6:30pm, with ticket sales ending at 6pm. They may close temporarily in rain.

Cable car up, slide down
For the easier option, enter from City Balcony, take the cable car up, visit the 360-degree summit viewing platform, then take the 630-metre rail slide down. Allow 1.5-2 hours.
The combined ticket is CNY 80 for adults and CNY 50 for children over 1.1 metres. The cable-car ride lasts about one to two minutes, so it makes most sense when paired with the slide.
Free hiking and boardwalk route
For a walking route, enter through the main gate, pass Cuihu Lake and follow the mountain trail via Yixiantian, Tongtiandong and Panda Rock to the summit. Continue along the Jingshan boardwalk to Lanyue Platform and Guanhai Platform, then return the same way or descend from the west gate; allow two to three hours.
For sunset and night views, arrive at about 4:30pm, take the cable car uphill and wait at the summit through sunset and blue hour before descending.
Build your day
Start with the summit, then go to the coast
Enter through the north side of City Balcony and take the open cable-car cabin uphill for views over Xianglu Bay and the city skyline. At the top, spend time at the viewing platform before choosing the slide or boardwalk for the descent.
Make the boardwalk the focus of a hike
The Jingshan boardwalk is about 8.4 km long and has three sections: garden-linking, mountain-view and sea-view. Its wooden paths are generally gentle, allowing you to combine Lanyue Platform, Guanhai Platform and the summit without using the cable car.
After descending, City Balcony is within walking distance for a meal, coffee or rest. For an evening coastal route, continue along Lovers' Road to Zhuhai Fisher Girl, then Zhuhai Opera House if time allows.
Get there
Bus, cycling and parking
Take bus 2, 3, 4, 13, B2 or 605 to Wanghailou or Jingshan Park stop, then walk about three to five minutes to an entrance. You can also cycle along Lovers' Road and walk into the park from the coast.
For the cable-car route, use the underground car park at City Balcony North / Zhengfang Youhehui; an elevator leads directly to the cable-car hall. Haibin Park car park is another option and costs CNY 2 per hour.
Know before you go
Queues, weather and ride restrictions
The slide can have queues of more than an hour on weekends and public holidays. Visit on a weekday or arrive before 5pm; cable-car queues may also form for the descent on holidays, when walking down can be a practical alternative.
The slide may close in rain. Clear weather gives the best long-distance views; cloud and fog can obscure the bridge and farther coastline.
Children below 1.1 metres, visitors aged over 60, pregnant visitors, and anyone with high blood pressure or heart conditions cannot use the slide. Do not carry a large bag on the slide, keep valuables secure, wear trainers, and bring sun protection plus a light layer for the summit wind.
