Qi Culture Museum is at No. 308 Linzi Avenue in Linzi District, Zibo. Admission is free, and visitors usually enter through the museum entrance. The displays are organised around themes including Early Qi Civilisation, Qi in the Western Zhou, the Hegemony of the Spring and Autumn Period, Qi in the Warring States Period, Qi in the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the Glorious Capital of Qi. It suits visitors who want a systematic introduction to Qi history.
The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00, with last admission at 16:30. It is closed on Mondays except public holidays. Allow about 1.5–2 hours for a quick visit or 2.5–3 hours to follow the exhibition sequence in full. Free parking is available at the museum.
Reservations and identification
Admission to Qi Culture Museum is free, but advance real-name reservation is recommended to help ensure smooth entry. On WeChat, follow the official account “齐文化博物院,” open the “参观预约” reservation mini-program from the menu, add visitor details, and select a time slot. You can also search for “齐文化博物院” in Alipay and use its reservation mini-program.
Some time slots support on-site QR-code reservations, but places may be limited on weekends and public holidays, so completing the reservation on a phone in advance is more reliable. Visitors aged 60 and over, military personnel, people with disabilities, and other eligible groups may enter without a reservation with valid personal identification. Children aged 14 and under do not need a reservation, but must enter with an adult who has a reservation. All members of the group should carry valid identification.

Qi history and representative objects
The Warring States gold-and-silver-inlaid rhinoceros zun on the third floor is one of the museum’s representative objects. On the second floor, visitors can see displays on the Jixia Academy, a wall of Qi idioms and historical allusions, and related archaeological exhibitions. The Han-dynasty terracotta warriors and horses from Shanwangzhuang and the Western Han silver dou vessel suit visitors interested in pre-Qin and Qin–Han history and exchanges between East and West.
The “Hai Dai Qi Feng” relief in the first-floor entrance hall is a useful starting point for understanding the exhibition route. Visitors who enjoy object details can slow down in the bronze, terracotta-warrior, and archaeology galleries. Families with children can use the idiom wall and interactive exhibits to give the visit a clear sequence.
Who is it suited to?
History and culture enthusiasts can allow 2.5–3 hours and follow the galleries to see how Qi developed from early civilisation through the Qin and Han periods. First-time visitors to Linzi without prior knowledge of Qi history can begin in the entrance hall and first-floor displays, then add time on the second and third floors according to interest.
Qi Culture Museum is about 5 km from Linzi Chinese Ancient Chariot Museum and about 3 km from Jiang Taigong Temple. The three can form a one-day history route, but each requires separate entry and its own ticket or reservation arrangement. They should not be treated as one museum complex.

A quick 1.5–2 hour route
Start with the “Hai Dai Qi Feng” relief in the first-floor entrance hall. Go directly to the third floor to see the Warring States gold-and-silver-inlaid rhinoceros zun, return to the second floor for the Jixia Academy and Qi idiom wall, and finish in the first-floor cultural-creative area. This route prioritises the entrance hall, a representative object, and accessible historical themes, and suits visitors who still need to transfer to another Linzi attraction.
The times for guided tours follow that day’s arrangements. If you join one, you can start from the guide meeting point instead. A reference tour time does not mean the same session runs every day.
A complete 2.5–3 hour route
Start on the first floor and follow the sequence from Early Qi Civilisation and Qi in the Western Zhou to the Hegemony of the Spring and Autumn Period. Continue to the second floor for Qi in the Warring States Period, Qi in the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the Glorious Capital of Qi, then go to the third floor for the Warring States gold-and-silver-inlaid rhinoceros zun. Visitors interested in archaeology can spend longer in the second-floor archaeology gallery before finishing in the first-floor cultural-creative area.
If the next stop is Linzi Chinese Ancient Chariot Museum or Jiang Taigong Temple, confirm the driving direction and last-admission time before leaving. Qi Culture Museum establishes the historical framework of Qi; the chariot museum and temple then add an archaeological site and commemorative architecture. Driving is required between the three.
Get there
Buses, driving, and entrance
Take Bus 84, 200, or 237 and get off at Qidu Cultural City Station, then walk to the museum. By car, navigate to “Qi Culture Museum.” A free parking lot is available, and the entrance signs are relatively clear.
The museum is a considerable distance from Zhangdian District in central Zibo, so public transport may take time. For families with children or visitors planning several Linzi stops, driving or arranging a ride-hailing car in advance is more convenient for transfers between the three attractions.

Reservations, eligible groups, and guided tours
Reservations are made through the “齐文化博物院” WeChat official account or Alipay mini-program. Some time slots support on-site QR-code reservations, but places may be limited on weekends and public holidays. People eligible for reservation-free entry still need valid personal identification. Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult with a reservation.
Free public guided tours may not run at fixed times. If you want more context, ask at the entrance about that day’s arrangements, or choose a paid guided tour or audio guide. Plan around your reservation slot and last-admission time, and schedule the longer transfer after leaving the museum.
Food and a Linzi combination
Food choices in and around the museum are limited. For a longer visit, bring water and simple food before entering, and plan a full meal in Linzi urban area. Beishan Restaurant serves Shandong-style dishes such as fried pork and stir-fried chicken; Fuyueju Food Court is an option for barbecue and dinner.
Linzi Chinese Ancient Chariot Museum and Jiang Taigong Temple operate independently from Qi Culture Museum. If visiting all three in one day, start with Qi Culture Museum, then adjust the latter two stops according to their opening hours.
