Reserve first, then enter by time slot
The Site of the Zunyi Meeting is free to visit, but real-name reservation is required, and visitors enter according to their reserved time slot. After the entrance check, continue into the meeting-site and exhibition areas.
Visit the main building first, then the exhibition hall
The main building is where the Zunyi Meeting took place. It is not large, but it gives the physical sense of the site. The exhibition hall has more information and is better for understanding the Long March, the Zunyi Meeting, and the Four Crossings of the Chishui River.
Allow 2-3 hours
The main building alone is quick, but the main building, exhibition hall, Red Army Street, and nearby walking area need about 2-3 hours.
Use evening opening to avoid the worst crowds
The official site lists the meeting site and exhibition hall as open from 08:30 to 21:00, with last entry at 20:30. Other related venues are mostly 08:30 to 17:00, with last entry at 16:30, and Monday closure rules also matter.

✦Some indoor areas of the main building may restrict photography; follow the on-site signs.
✦Opening time and evening are usually more comfortable, while tour groups are more common from late morning through afternoon.
✦A taxi from Zunyi Railway Station is convenient, but the old-city area can be congested during holidays.
✦After the visit, Laosxiang food street is a practical nearby meal stop, so avoid detouring too far around the museum area.
