The rafting point is about 6 kilometers from the main gate of Changbai Mountain West Scenic Area. Map listings place it near the confluence of Quanshui River (泉水河) and Songjiang River (松江河). Use the distance only as a regional reference; navigate to the ticket-check point, boarding point and return meeting point confirmed by the operator for that day.
You can combine it with the West Scenic Area, but keep the timing flexible
The West Scenic Area and rafting can be planned for the same day, but first check whether you can reach rafting check-in by the cutoff and departure time after coming down from Tianchi. If the timing is too tight, schedule them on separate days.

The Premier Natural Rafting route is about 6.5 kilometers through forested river valleys near the West Slope of Changbai Mountain. Along the way, you can see riverside trees, bends in the river and changing water conditions. It is not a fixed sightseeing-boat route: water conditions may change with the season and weather. Check the operator's daily information for the actual ride time and difficulty.

Other products near Chixi and the West Slope include Tianchi Water First Rafting (天池水第一漂) and Songhua River First Rafting (松花江第一漂). Their entrances, river sections and transfer arrangements are not interchangeable. Before paying, check the operator's name, meeting point, route, shuttle and return transport. If the ticket only says “Changbai Mountain rafting,” ask the seller which location it covers.

If you want to visit the West Scenic Area first, one regional itinerary offers a useful sequence: West Scenic Area in the morning and rafting in the afternoon. Your descent from Tianchi may take longer because of weather, queues or areas closed that day. Get the rafting check-in cutoff and meeting point first; if the times do not line up, rebook or adjust under the booking terms rather than trying to catch a vehicle along the road.
Confirm the finish point and how you will get back to your car
Before booking, ask the operator where you board and get off, which end your car should be parked at, whether the shuttle is included and where the pickup vehicle will wait. Set out only after these arrangements are clear.
