An official report puts the water temperature of Biquan River at about 6–8°C and has also described winter rafting. When booking, confirm departures, the meeting point, activity duration and equipment for your date. Plan around the operator's arrangements for that day.
Forest grounds: visit the areas that are open
Historical park materials list the woodland paths at Muyangyuan, the stone-carving garden at Helu Garden, Biquan Lake Ecological Park and the wooden Bagua maze. Choose walking areas that are open and follow park directions. Do not enter a section behind barriers if it is under maintenance or closed.
Nongfu Spring's factory is a separate nearby stop
The operator's website also describes the Hunting Culture Museum, Biquan Lake, fish viewing at Jiulong Spring (九龙泉) and forest activities. Confirm one timed activity first

Walk the grounds after rafting
After rafting, choose among Muyangyuan, Helu Garden and the wooden Bagua maze, depending on which areas are open that day. Follow on-site signs when moving between them.
Plan the return trip
The core area is about 32 kilometers from Lushuihe Town. After your activity, return to the agreed pickup point. Set the pickup time and location before leaving, allow for the drive and avoid scheduling several activities into the late evening.

Rafting, garden paths and outdoor activities can be affected by weather, maintenance and operating conditions. If rafting or an area is suspended, choose another activity that remains open as directed by the operator, or end your visit. Do not enter the river, climb over barriers or walk into forest areas that are closed.
