Plan at a glance
Plan around current activities rather than a fixed sightseeing route
Huamei Resort is in Manjiang Town (漫江镇), Fusong County, Baishan, with accommodation and seasonal outdoor activities. During China's May Day holiday in 2026, the resort opened Canyon Adventure Park, Forest Exploration Park and Kuilu Farm. It also offers skiing and winter snow activities.
In winter, focus on skiing or snow play
The official report for the 2025–2026 season described 15 wide ski runs for beginner and intermediate skiers and families, along with snow tubing, snow play and other winter activities. Check the seasonal notice for the 2026–2027 opening date, runs, prices and operating hours.
Choose your main activity before deciding how long to stay
Families can build a day around a theme park or snow activity. For a longer stay, plan resort activities, accommodation and nearby villages on separate days; choose each day's main activity based on what is open.

Choose your visit
Warm-weather and ski-season visits are different
The resort offers different outdoor activities in warmer months and during ski season. In warmer months, choose from the theme parks; during ski season, focus on skiing or snow play. Check the seasonal notice for opening dates before travelling.
In winter, check run grades and opening status
The 2025–2026 season report described Huamei's ski area as suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and families, and listed its ski runs and snow activities. Choose a run using the current official grading, opening status and on-site signs. Check your booking separately for lessons, equipment and lift-pass coverage.
Three theme parks offer different kinds of outings
During China's May Day holiday in 2026, Huamei opened Canyon Adventure Park (峡谷探险乐园), Forest Exploration Park (森林探索乐园) and Kuilu Farm (葵鹿农庄). Visitors looking for outdoor activities can find out more about the first two; families can check the seasonal experiences at Kuilu Farm. The parks operate as separate activities, so confirm their seasonal dates and entry requirements before you go.
The Club Med hot-spring center is a separate product; see Club Med Changbaishan Hot Spring.
Build your day
Half-day visit: choose one main activity
For a warm-weather half-day, choose one theme park that is open that day and follow its booking and entry requirements. Check the activity session and round-trip transport rather than trying to fit several experiences into the same time slot.
Full-day visit: plan around the season
In warmer months, choose two theme parks that are open that day and allow time to travel between them. In winter, make skiing the main activity for the day and plan breaks and meals around the runs that are open. Follow the resort's and ski area's notices for that day.
For a multi-day stay, settle accommodation and transfers first
You can combine Huamei Resort with nearby stops such as Jinjiang Wooden House Village. Book accommodation and arrange transfers first, then plan activities and transport for each day. Regional itineraries show which places can be combined; before visiting several stops, check reservations, road conditions and your return transport separately.
Get there
Navigate to Huamei Resort in Manjiang Town
The resort is in Manjiang Town, Fusong County. Search for “Changbai Mountain Huamei Resort” by its full name, then confirm the hotel, activity entrance or transfer point listed in your booking. Do not use the nearby West Scenic Area visitor center as an entrance to Huamei Resort.
Arrange a transfer from the airport or railway station
For a trip from Changbaishan Airport or Songjianghe Railway Station, plan your transfer using your actual arrival details. Ask your hotel or the resort whether pickup is available, whether you need to reserve it and how to arrange the return trip.
Confirm the contact number before travelling
A Jilin tourism itinerary published in 2025 lists Huamei Resort's information number as 400-8786-555. Before calling, check the resort's latest information or the contact details on your booking.
Know before you go
Check whether activities are open in your season
The three theme parks were open during China's May Day holiday in 2026, but seasonal schedules can change. Before booking, check operating hours for your dates, age limits, weather-related closures and whether a separate ticket is required. If an activity closes unexpectedly, choose another open activity as directed by the resort or end your visit.
Confirm the ski season, pass and equipment
Check the seasonal ski notice and your booking terms for the opening date, prices and accommodation-package benefits. Follow ski-run signs, and stay out of closed runs.
If an activity closes, follow the on-site plan
Theme parks, ski runs and outdoor activities can be affected by the season, weather or maintenance. If your planned activity is suspended, follow on-site directions to choose an activity that remains open or end your visit. Do not enter closed areas or look for an alternative entrance on an unapproved road.
