How to Visit

Make it a main stop only during flower season
Baili Azalea is most worth visiting during the spring bloom. In 2026, the flower season starts in early March, and late March is usually closer to peak bloom. The flower-season through ticket is CNY 130 and covers Pudi, Jinpo, Azalea King, Jiamu, and other areas. The sightseeing bus is CNY 70 and covers Pudi and Jinpo.
Tip:Outside flower season, do not come expecting a full flower-sea landscape. The scenic value drops clearly.

Choose one main area for one day
For a first visit, Pudi is the better priority because its views are wider and better for seeing large flower slopes. Jinpo has denser flowers and more compact photo spots. Trying to cover both Pudi and Jinpo in one day can lose a lot of time to transfers, queues, and walking.
Tip:The flower-season ticket is valid for 5 days after first entry, and the sightseeing bus is valid for 3 days. If you have enough time, two separate days are more comfortable.

In Pudi, follow Wucai Road, Zui Jiuniu, and Shuhua Peak
Pudi works well if you start from the sightseeing-bus stops, then walk Wucai Road, Zui Jiuniu, and Shuhua Peak. Shuhua Peak requires some climbing and gives a fuller view of the flower layers.
Tip:With older visitors or children, do not force the climb just for the high viewpoint. The lower flower slopes are already worth seeing.

Use Jinpo for a lighter photo visit
In Jinpo, focus on Baihuaping, Soma Flower Bridge, Lansheng Platform, and Maying Forest. The pace is more compact than Pudi, but crowds gather around the bridge and viewpoints in peak season.
Tip:If you want cleaner photos, arriving early helps more than editing afterward.
