Visit for the canyon walk and elevator for now

Zhijin Grand Canyon has reopened, but the underground-river boat ride is still suspended. For now, it is better for the canyon, natural bridge, sinkhole, and sightseeing elevator. The ticket is CNY 45, the sightseeing bus is CNY 20, and the sightseeing elevator is CNY 40. Budget CNY 105 for the ticket, bus, and elevator package.

Use the exit-side downhill route to save energy

The easier route is to enter from the exit-side parking area, take the sightseeing elevator down into the canyon, then follow the path to see the natural bridge, Jingu Buddha, and water near the cave entrance before exiting toward the entrance side.

Do not overestimate your energy when pairing it with Zhijin Cave

Zhijin Cave and Zhijin Grand Canyon are close and work well on the same day, but neither is a "see it from the car" attraction. Cave first or canyon first can both work; the key is to avoid the most tiring climbs at midday.

Expect possible adjustments in rainy season

The canyon is more affected by heavy rain, water levels, and dredging work. Some projects may be suspended temporarily. Even without the boat, wet plank paths and steps can affect the visit.
