How to Visit
1

Treat it as a half-day red-history and canyon-view stop

Jiming Sansheng Scenic Area sits where Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou meet. It is useful for seeing the three-province boundary, canyon scenery, and memorial sites related to the Jiming Sansheng Meeting. The ticket is CNY 20, and the round-trip sightseeing bus is CNY 10. Use 09:00-18:00 for planning, with last entry at 17:30.

Tip:This is not a large scenic area full of facilities. Its value is the geography and red-history context, so a light half-day visit is enough.
2

Take the sightseeing bus to the core area first

For a first visit, take the sightseeing bus from the visitor center to the upper core area, then see Xiongji Xiaoti Viewpoint, Jiming Sansheng Monument, and the canyon views. Walking is possible, but it uses more energy.

Tip:The sightseeing bus is inexpensive, so there is little reason to skip it unless you specifically want to walk.
3

Use the viewpoint first, then decide on the cliff path

The viewpoint gives the larger view of the canyon and the three-province boundary. The cliff path is more about the experience, with glass sections, cliffs, and steps. Visitors afraid of heights or with weak knees do not need to complete the full path.

Tip:Clear weather gives better views. In rain or fog, the canyon view is weaker and the steps are more slippery.
4

Self-driving is easiest; leave more time for public transport

Driving from Bijie city takes about 1 hour, with mountain roads after exiting the expressway near Linkou. By public transport, go first to Bijie East Bus Station, then transfer to a coach toward Jiming Sansheng, but check departure and return timing carefully.

Tip:If you still need to continue to Dafang, Hezhang, or Zhijin that day, do not schedule this stop too late.
Highlights
  • One scenic area helps explain the geographic meeting point of Sichuan, Yunnan, and Guizhou.
  • Jiming Sansheng Monument gives the visit its Long March red-history context.
  • The viewpoint shows canyon, river, and mountain layers together.
  • Jiming Sansheng Bridge is worth a quick look on a self-driving route.
  • The ticket and sightseeing bus cost are low, making it suitable for a light half-day visit.
Insider Tips

Views and photos depend strongly on weather; do not expect long-distance views in rain or fog.

Steps and cliff paths have slopes, so wear non-slip shoes.

If you are afraid of heights, see the viewpoint and monument without forcing the glass path.

Food options inside are limited, so bring water.

In rainy weather, drive carefully on mountain bends and foggy sections.
