What you will see
Tianmu Lake Yushui Hot Spring is at 888 Lijiayuan Village, Daibu Town, Liyang, Changzhou, at the foot of Nanshan Bamboo Sea. It has more than 50 outdoor pools and works well as an evening bathing stop on the same day as the bamboo sea or on the following day. It is separately operated from Tianmu Lake Hantian Hillside Hot Spring, so the locations, pools and packages are not interchangeable.
A quick route takes about 1–1.5 hours; a highlights route takes about 2–3 hours. Adult tickets reference CNY 160–258, and children below 1.2 metres are usually free. Prices vary by date, platform and package, so judge the ticket by the actual product.
Choose your arrival time
Reference hours are Monday–Thursday and Sunday 13:00–21:30, and Friday–Saturday 13:00–22:00. The hot spring opens in the afternoon and works well after Nanshan Bamboo Sea; visitors coming only to bathe can go to the hilltop pool first and then enter the other areas.

Bamboo-tip pool and outdoor pools
The Bamboo-tip Pool sits high enough to look toward Nanshan Bamboo Sea and is the priority viewpoint. The Nature, Additive and Couples zones have different themed pools, from which visitors can choose 2–4 according to interest.
Other themes include the hot-pot, children's, wine-aroma and other pools. Families can start with the children's water-play area, then choose quieter outdoor pools for adults. Pool temperature, operating status and crowd levels affect the experience; leave the water immediately if you feel unwell.
Suitable visitors
Yushui Hot Spring suits a recovery stop after Nanshan Bamboo Sea, couples, friends and families. Photographers can focus on the Bamboo-tip Pool and bamboo scenery. Visitors seeking a quieter soak can avoid holiday and evening peaks, when popular pools may have waits.
Build your day
About 1–1.5 hours: quick route
From the changing area, go directly to the Bamboo-tip Pool for views and photos. On the way back, choose 2–3 themed pools of interest and finish in the indoor rest area. This short route skips a full circuit and suits visitors already tired after the bamboo sea.
Bring your own sandals and waterproof phone pouch if possible. Put your phone and valuables away after photography and before entering a pool, and avoid standing for long periods on wet paths.
About 2–3 hours: highlights route
Follow the Additive, Couples, Nature and Bamboo-tip Pool direction, visiting the Rose Pool, Angelica Pool, Linlin or Linjing Pool, and then the hilltop viewpoint. With children, add the children's pool and water-play area.
The hot spring route is clear, but the climb from the lower pools to the Bamboo-tip Pool is noticeable. On busy holidays, moving from the high pools downward can make the route easier to control; visitors who find walking difficult can reduce the high pool section.
Get there
Connection with Nanshan Bamboo Sea
Yushui Hot Spring is about a 5–10 minute walk from Nanshan Bamboo Sea. They can be arranged on the same day or on adjacent days, with the hot spring directly after the bamboo sea as the simplest combination. They use separate tickets and separate validation; a hot spring ticket is not a bamboo-sea ticket.
From Liyang Station, change to a tourist line or take a taxi to the Daibu Town attraction area. Arrange the return vehicle in advance. Yushui Hot Spring, Hantian Resort and Tianmu Lake Landscape Park have different addresses, so use the complete attraction name when navigating.
Equipment and parking
Bring sandals, a waterproof phone pouch, a swimsuit and necessary spare clothes. The resort usually provides some bath products and rest facilities; a personal waterproof pouch is more convenient for phone photography.
Know before you go
Prices, hours and reservations
Adult tickets reference CNY 160–258, while child policies vary by height and date. Reference hours are about 13:00–21:30 Monday–Thursday and Sunday, and 13:00–22:00 Friday–Saturday. Online and on-site products may differ, so confirm the date, last entry and package contents before leaving.
The hot spring is mainly an afternoon-to-night experience, with noticeably higher crowds on holidays. Weekdays and later afternoon periods are usually less crowded, but popular pools may still have queues.
Non-slip footwear, water and food
Floors between pools are wet and slippery; wear non-slip sandals and slow down while walking. Children in the water-play area need supervision. Watch your time and physical response while bathing, and drink water between the pools and rest areas.
The on-site buffet references about CNY 128 per person. For Tianmu Lake fish-head casserole, consider Tianmu Lake Hotel in the city; for nearby farm food, look at local restaurants around the hot spring. Restaurant hours and packages follow the day.
Combining with other Tianmu Lake attractions
Nanshan Bamboo Sea is the closest nearby attraction. Tianmu Lake Landscape Park is about 20 km away, and the two can form a two-day nature-and-hot-spring itinerary. The two hot springs have different lake views, pools and transport locations; use the complete attraction name in the itinerary to avoid navigating to the other hot spring.
