What you will see

Yancheng Spring and Autumn Amusement Land is at 197 Wuyi Middle Road in Wujin District, Changzhou, with the South Gate as the usual entrance. It combines Spring and Autumn history themes, scenic sets, cultural shows and amusement rides in one theme park. It suits visitors interested in historical settings, traditional-style photography and water rides.

A quick visit takes about 3–4 hours; a full visit takes about 6–8 hours. Regular reference hours are around 09:00–17:00, with possible summer extensions to 21:00 and a night park. Night programmes and facility openings vary by date, so summer arrangements do not define the schedule for the rest of the year.

Ticket range and visit style

There is no single main ticket price suitable for long-term quoting. Current products may range from several dozen to more than CNY 100, while limited offers and regional promotions can change the final price. Before buying, confirm the date of use, entry period and whether the ticket includes water rides, the night park or other in-park attractions.

Half a day covers the main Spring and Autumn scenery and cultural spaces. A full day is better if you want water rides, shows and photography time. Yancheng Ruins Park and Yancheng Safari Park next door require separate tickets; plan them as separate attractions rather than one connected park.

Choose your visit

The Hundred Schools Garden and Spring and Autumn Palace

The Hundred Schools Garden centres on a Confucius statue and scenery representing different schools of thought. It is a useful first stop for understanding the park as a whole. The Spring and Autumn Palace and Yanjun Hall focus more on architecture, historical settings and photography, and suit visitors interested in the period but not in spending the whole day on thrill rides.

Sun Wu Command Platform rises to about 55 metres and looks over the Three Cities and Three Rivers heritage area. The high viewpoint helps with orientation and photographs of the heritage landscape and theme park, but its operating status depends on the day.

Water rides and the night park

Flying Boat Rapids and Zhaoguan Rafting will get you wet, so plan a place and time to change clothes. Choose Children's World according to the ages of the children in your group; some attractions have separate rules or extra fees, so read the attraction information after entry.

The night park and Iron Flower show are seasonal or date-specific. Daytime cultural performances include Bell Music and Dance. If a show is important, check the day's programme before setting the route rather than giving up other areas that are definitely open for a performance time that may change.

Build your day

About 3–4 hours: quick route

Enter through the South Gate. Start with the Confucius statue and the schools-of-thought scenery in the Hundred Schools Garden, then continue to the Spring and Autumn Palace and Yanjun Hall, and finish in the heritage area to understand the layout around the Three Cities and Three Rivers. With limited time, focus on cultural scenery and the high viewpoint, leaving water rides and children's areas for another visit.

The park involves long walking distances. If photography is the priority, visit the Hundred Schools Garden and Sun Wu Command Platform before entering the water-ride area, so a wet change of clothes does not lead into a long walk.

About 6–8 hours: highlights route

Enter through the South Gate and start with the Hundred Schools Garden and Children's World. Put Flying Boat Rapids or Zhaoguan Rafting in the middle of the day, then continue to Sun Wu Command Platform and Yanjun Hall, finishing with a slow walk through the heritage area. After the water rides, arrange time to change, drink water and rest.

If the night park or Iron Flower show is running, check the performance location and entry requirements in the afternoon, then plan the daytime areas around it. Return to Shijichunqiu Commercial Street or the relevant viewing area in the evening and leave according to the programme's end time.

Combining the theme park and ruins park

Yancheng Ruins Park is next to the amusement land, but the entrances and tickets are separate. To combine rides with the Three Cities and Three Rivers heritage area, make the theme park the main half-day or full-day visit and buy a separate ruins-park ticket. The ruins park begins at its West Gate; the amusement land's East Gate is not an entrance for it.

Get there

Metro, buses and entrance

Take Metro Line 1 to Yanzheng Avenue Station, then walk about 20 minutes or transfer to buses such as Y6, 14 or B1. Set the final destination to the South Gate to avoid being directed to the nearby ruins park or safari park entrances.

The South Gate is the usual entrance and suits a route through the Hundred Schools Garden, Spring and Autumn Palace and heritage area. When leaving, remember that the theme park and neighbouring attractions do not share all exits and parking areas.

Driving and movement inside the park

The park has parking. The reference fee is CNY 5 per visit on weekdays and CNY 10 on holidays. Most movement inside is on foot and some areas are far apart; electric cart rental is about CNY 120 per hour, so compare it with the waiting time and walking distance before renting.

Water rides require a raincoat, with an on-site reference price of about CNY 20. Wuba Haunted House may include wet sections; rain-boot rental is about CNY 20 per person, and some children's facilities charge about CNY 8 per person for shoe covers. Include changing clothes, shoe covers and spare clothing in the budget if travelling with children or planning water rides.

Know before you go

Facility status and extra spending

The opening status of some rides changes, especially coasters and haunted-house attractions. Visitors whose main goal is thrill rides should check the day's operating information before setting out. If fewer rides are available, the Hundred Schools Garden, Spring and Autumn Palace, performances and photography route remain alternatives.

In-park attractions, water rides, special equipment and mobility vehicles may cost extra. Confirm what the main ticket includes, then buy individual experiences on site if needed; the main ticket may not cover every attraction.

Mobility, weather and food

The park is large, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water and sun protection in summer. Indoor or food areas are more convenient places to rest after water rides; the Spring and Autumn Restaurant and Shijichunqiu Food Street offer light meals and Changzhou snacks.

The night park, Iron Flower and other performances appear only on relevant dates or time slots. Adjust the final part of the route to the actual programme on the day.
