Plan at a glance
Theme and location
China–Russia Ethnic Culture Park is near Provincial Highway S302 on the western outskirts of Heihe, about 13 km from the city center. It focuses on Russian-style streets, Oroqen cultural displays, and film sets, so plan it as a half-day visit around the areas that interest you most.
Tickets and opening hours
The park is usually open daily from 09:30 to 17:30. The adult ticket is RMB 40; Aihui District residents may have a RMB 20 ticket, and children under 1.2 meters are free. The documents required for concessions, changes announced that day, last entry, and reservation rules are not specified, so confirm them with the park before departure.

Choose your visit
Russian-style street and onion-domed church
The Russian-style street is the park’s main architectural area, with an onion-domed church and log houses. If buildings are your priority, walk the street at an easy pace and make the church a main stop; costume rental and other add-ons are optional.
Oroqen cultural display area
The cultural area includes birch-bark houses and cone-shaped Oroqen tents, offering a stop to learn about Oroqen living traditions. Talks and interactive activities may not run every day; ask at the service point after entering if you want to join one.
Film-set area
The film-set area retains log-house scenes connected with *The Dawns Here Are Quiet*. Whether the interiors are open depends on that day's operating conditions.
Buildings and log-house photography
The front of the onion-domed church and the path running along its side and rear offer good exterior views. If the log-house interiors are open, you can go inside; follow the on-site photography rules first.
Summer performances
Summer programming may include a Russian international circus, huohu (火壶), a traditional fire performance recognized as intangible cultural heritage, and a bonfire evening. The performance season usually runs to around 31 August, but the program and closing date change each year. Confirm the specific session and ticketing method before planning around a show.
Build your day
Quick route: sightseeing vehicle to the Eight Banners Maze
Enter through the main gate. If the sightseeing vehicle is operating, it may take you towards the Eight Banners Maze; from there, follow the park’s signs towards the Oroqen cultural area, film-set area, and Russian-style street before returning to the main gate. Allow about 1.5–2 hours. The vehicle fare is about RMB 5 per person; confirm its stops and return boarding arrangement on site.
Walking highlights: cultural area to the river-view platform
Enter on foot from the left side of the main gate. Visit the Oroqen cultural and film-set areas first, return to the main path for the Russian-style street, onion-domed church, and log houses, and finish at the park’s river-view platform. The walk takes about 3–4 hours; follow the signs back to the main gate, and bring water and a small snack because food options along the route are limited.
Combine it with a city stop
If you have enough time, visit the park and Heilongjiang Bridge Park on the same day as two separate stops. Confirm the transport connection, opening arrangements, and return vehicle for each place separately, and use each attraction’s own entrance and paths.
Get there
Driving and parking
Search for “China–Russia Ethnic Culture Park” and enter through the main gate. Driving from central Heihe takes about 20–25 minutes. Parking is free but limited, so arriving earlier leaves more time for parking and entry.
Bus and return
Tourist shuttle buses and Bus Route 6 serve the park. The tourist shuttle costs about RMB 5 per person, and Route 6 starts from Heihe University. Check the exact stop, departure time, last bus, and return arrangement on the day you travel.
Know before you go
Confirming tickets and concessions
The conditions and accepted documents for the adult ticket, Aihui resident ticket, and child-height concession follow the ticket office’s rules in force that day. Foreign visitors should confirm whether a passport can be used for verification before buying. Last entry has not been specified, so ask how much time remains for entry and visiting when you arrive near closing.
Walking and spending inside the park
A walking visit usually takes 3–4 hours, so wear comfortable shoes for extended walking. Russian-style costume rental, some rides, and souvenir shops cost extra; check the price list after entering and choose what you want.
Food and supplies
Food choices inside the park are limited. Bring snacks and water or return to central Heihe for a proper meal. Delok and Amur are possible Russian-style restaurant options in the city; check their address, opening status, and menu before setting out.
River view and park boundaries
The river-view platform is an observation point within the park and should be visited as part of the park’s normal route. Follow park and border-area signs when taking photos and do not enter closed sections. Heilongjiang Bridge Park is a separate attraction.
