Beach and coconut-grove island break
Wangfuzhou Resort is on Xiachuan Island in Taishan. It combines Wangfuzhou Beach, coconut-lined paths, island roads and seafood dining. Travel starts at Shanzui Port, followed by a ferry and shuttle bus to Wangfuzhou.
A combined return-ferry, shuttle-bus and admission ticket costs CNY 185–196; on-site purchase is around CNY 210. The ferry journey takes around 35–40 minutes.

One day or a slower island stay
For a day trip, spend time on Wangfuzhou Beach, walk Coconut Lover’s Road, then watch sunset at Dongwan before returning.
For a two-day visit, use the first afternoon for the beach and coconut groves, then see sunset at Dongwan. On day two, leave early for sunrise at Miyuan, then cycle or drive towards Niutang Bay and Niukou Park.

Beach first, then an island loop
After arrival, check in or store your luggage, then head to Wangfuzhou Beach and Coconut Lover’s Road. Reserve the late afternoon for Dongwan, where fishing boats return near sunset and seafood restaurants are nearby.
On the second day, reach Miyuan before sunrise, then rent a vehicle or bicycle for the island route through Niutang Bay and Niukou Park.
Get there
Reach Shanzui Port, then use the shuttle
Drive to Shanzui Port or Shanzui Port Land-Island Car Park. Parking costs around CNY 30–60 per day. From Taishan Railway Station, take a taxi to the port, or transfer through Taishan Coach Station to the Shanzui Port bus.
Buy the combined ticket one day ahead where possible, then use the QR code for boarding. E-bikes and off-road vehicles can be rented on the island.
Know before you go
Weather, bookings and island costs
Book ferry tickets and sea-view rooms early for public holidays. Bring high-factor sun protection, a hat, sun-protective clothing, mosquito repellent, water and snacks, as island prices are higher.
Typhoons can suspend ferry services, so leave room for itinerary changes. Confirm weight, preparation charges and cooking method when buying seafood.
