A mountain resort for all seasons
China Travel Songhua Lake Resort is at 888 Qingshan Street in Fengman District, Jilin City. It focuses on mountain recreation and alpine skiing. In spring, summer and fall, you can take a cable car up the mountain for the views; winter is mainly for alpine skiing and snow activities.
Songhua Lake Scenic Area is a separate destination for boat trips, piers and island visits. Navigate to “中旅松花湖度假区” or Songhua Lake Seibu Prince Hotel (西武王子酒店), rather than the lake area's boat piers.

There is no admission fee for the resort's public areas. Sightseeing cable cars, alpine slides, ski passes and other activities are charged separately. Reservation rules, operating hours and what each ticket includes vary by activity; check each one for your travel date before buying.

Summer cable car and mountain-top views
A one-way sightseeing cable-car ride takes about 15 minutes. At the top, you can visit Forest Stage, the Jilin ONE viewpoint and the mountain-top lawn. The alpine flower garden opens seasonally, and its bloom period and activities change from year to year.
This route suits visitors who want an easy ride up the mountain for views of the lake, forest and flowers. In summer 2026, the resort scheduled valley concerts and outdoor cinema on weekends and public holidays; activities follow the annual calendar.
Choosing winter ski runs
A1 Romantic Boulevard is about 5.21 km long and is classified as a beginner run. Area M has a magic carpet, Area B is a practice area, and Areas C and D have intermediate runs. A1 is a long descent; beginners should first learn to stop and turn in the practice area, then choose a run that matches their ability.
Visitors with skiing experience can choose an intermediate run after learning the resort's area layout. Run and lift operations change with snow conditions, so check the trail map for the day.

Daytime cable-car sightseeing route
Go from the resort entrance or Songhua Lake Seibu Prince Hotel (西武王子酒店) to the cable-car station and ride up. Follow the open paths to Forest Stage, the Jilin ONE viewpoint and the mountain-top lawn, then take the cable car back down. Allow about 2–3 hours for the standard sightseeing route, including the round-trip ride and time on the trails.
The mountain-top flower garden, alpine slides and camping activities are seasonal. If you plan to join one, check its dates and ticket outlet first.
Sunrise cable-car route
As of October 14, 2026, the resort's published summer 2026 sunrise cable-car schedule had ended on September 30. It previously ran Tuesday through Sunday, with uphill rides from 03:30 to 05:30 and downhill rides from 06:00 to 07:00. If the resort publishes a special restart, plan around that new notice; do not use the summer schedule as current operating hours.
If sunrise rides reopen in the future, take the special service arranged by the resort and wait for sunrise near Forest Stage or Qingshan Small Theater. Return by cable car at the time scheduled for that day. Allow about 4 hours for the outing and bring a warm layer for the cold morning wind at the top.
A first day of skiing
After renting equipment and checking your gear in the ski-equipment hall, start on the magic carpet in Area M or practice in Area B. Once you have basic control, consider the A1 beginner run; Areas C and D are for skiers with the required ability.
Day and night skiing, as well as equipment rental and return, follow the tickets offered for that season. At the end of your session, return to the equipment hall within the operating hours of the lifts, and arrange transport from the resort to the city or railway station in advance.

Navigation and driving
Search for “中旅松花湖度假区” or Songhua Lake Seibu Prince Hotel (西武王子酒店) in your navigation app. The address is 888 Qingshan Street, Fengman District, Jilin City. Parking is available; check on-site signs for fees. Allow extra time to park and walk during holidays and peak ski-season periods.
From the airport, railway station or by bus
From Changchun Longjia International Airport, check whether a resort shuttle or carpool is available; the reference travel time is about 1.5–2 hours. From Jilin Railway Station, a resort shuttle or taxi takes about 40 minutes one way as a reference. There is no stable public timetable for shuttle departures, fares or return trips, so confirm the round trip before booking.
Bus 213 runs infrequently and stops early. Taxis are also difficult to find on short notice near the resort. If you are not driving, arrange your return vehicle in advance.
Know before you go
Schedules and reservations
Sunrise cable cars, regular sightseeing cable cars and ski-season lifts operate on different schedules. Before buying, check the uphill and downhill times, reservation rules and activity dates separately.
Equipment, ski runs and mountain weather
When renting ski equipment, inspect the skis, boots and bindings in person, and check that they suit your height, shoe size and ability. Use the receipt or order to confirm what the rental includes. A beginner label on A1 does not mean that first-time skiers should start from the top.
The mountain top is windy and feels cold at sunrise; bring a jacket even in summer. Winter air is dry, so pack windproof, warm clothing and skin-care products.
Food and accommodation
Qingshan Canteen and Yuwenjia Barbecue are near the resort entrance. Xinxingyuan Dumplings is an option after leaving the resort. Manner Coffee at the mountain top and other dining outlets may change their hours by season; check what is open that day.
If you choose a Qingshan Apartment, confirm the exact apartment building and its walking route to the ski-equipment hall. Walking distances differ between sections.
