A flat family leisure park
Xianfeng Sanbao is in Zhuyuan Village, Xuanfeng Town, Luxi County, Pingxiang, Jiangxi, and vehicles can reach the Visitor Center. The park centres on Youyou Ranch (呦呦牧场), Shahuwan (沙湖湾), flower fields, the non-motorized adventure playground and the steam train. It suits family leisure, easy walks and a short outdoor visit. It is separately ticketed and visited apart from a Wugong Mountain hiking itinerary.
Ticket and seasonal hours
Adult tickets range from CNY 45–70. Children under 1 metre enter free, while children from 1.0 m to under 1.5 m receive half-price admission. The steam train costs CNY 30 per person. Opening hours change by season: 08:00–22:00 from July 3 to August 31, 2026; 08:00–17:30 from September 1 to October 7; and 08:30–17:00 from October 8 to December 31. Evening opening and the last-admission time follow the day's notice.

Youyou Ranch (呦呦牧场) and Shahuwan (沙湖湾)
At Youyou Ranch, children can see and feed alpacas, ponies, sika deer and other animals at close range. Shahuwan offers an artificial beach and lake activities, which suit younger children who want to play with sand, step into the water and stay for family time. Feeding uses the food permitted that day, and the age and height rules for children's facilities follow the on-site instructions.
Steam train and windmill lawn
The retro steam train runs beside the lake, flower fields and lawns and is one of the park's main experiences. The windmill lawn, white fences and distant hills work well for afternoon photographs on a clear day. The train ticket is separate, and the multiple stops, timetable and boarding rules may change, so do not base a photography plan on a fixed train departure.
Siji Huahai (四季花海) and the non-motorized playground
The flower varieties change with the season, including hydrangeas and verbena in summer and pink muhly grass in autumn. Flower conditions depend on the weather, so check the current bloom status before travelling. Some areas of the non-motorized adventure playground may be free, while package activities still have age and height rules; arrange the long route around the activities open that day.
Build your day
2–3-hour short route
Enter through the Visitor Center and take the steam train around the park. Depending on the day's stops, get off at Youyou Ranch and Shahuwan, then return to the entrance area. This puts animal contact, beach time and the train into one short visit, suited to visitors short on time, families with young children or anyone wanting an easy walk. Queues and waiting for the train are extra.
4–6-hour long route
After entering, walk or rent an electric cart. Arrange Siji Huahai (四季花海), Youyou Ranch (呦呦牧场) and Shahuwan (沙湖湾) in sequence, then visit the non-motorized adventure playground and take the retro steam train. The order can change with flower conditions, feeding times and children's rest needs, while the opening and queues for the flower fields, ranch, lake and train follow the day's operation.
Combine it with Wugong Mountain
Xianfeng Sanbao can be a stand-alone family leisure day or part of a two-day itinerary with Wugong Mountain; the drive between the two takes about 30–40 minutes. Count the tickets, parking, park movement and opening hours separately for each place. Xianfeng Sanbao's flat activities do not replace Wugong Mountain hiking.

Driving and high-speed rail
The drive from Pingxiang city takes about 40 minutes; navigate to “Pingxiang Xianfeng Sanbao Scenic Area,” where vehicles can reach the Visitor Center. A taxi from Pingxiang North Railway Station takes about 30 minutes and costs about CNY 50–60. The Visitor Center has a large free car park; after parking, walk or take a vehicle according to the park entrance arrangement.
Public transport
From Pingxiang Chengnan Bus Station, take a scheduled bus to Xuanfeng Town, then change to the minibus for the scenic area. Bus and scenic-area minibus departures may change, so confirm the day's departure time before leaving and allow for transfer waiting time in the itinerary. The visit starts with ticketing and movement inside the park at the Visitor Center.
Know before you go
Flower season, evening opening and the train
Hydrangeas, verbena, pink muhly grass and other flowers depend on season and weather; a single month cannot guarantee a full display. Summer and holidays may bring evening opening, but longer hours do not mean activities run every evening. The train may have queues on weekends and holidays; its CNY 30-per-person ticket and stop information still follow the day's operation.
Feeding and children's activities
Check the age range for activities included in any package; some more stimulating rides have height limits. Animal-feeding materials and children's activities also follow the on-site rules. If you plan to bring washed carrot sticks, confirm that they are allowed, which animals may eat them and when feeding is permitted that day.
Food and accommodation
Restaurants inside the park may have queues on holidays, so you can carry a small amount of snacks and drinking water. About 100 metres outside is a local food street; Xu Ji Stone Pot Fish and similar farm restaurants cost about CNY 20–40 per person. Sanbao Restaurant and Music Restaurant inside the park cost about CNY 50–80 per person. Treehouse and tent stays can be relatively expensive, and room facilities and reviews may vary; visitors wanting more accommodation options can stay in Pingxiang city or at the foot of Wugong Mountain.
