Decide where you are coming from first

Basha is closer to Congjiang County town, so it works best as a stop from Congjiang Railway Station, Congjiang town, Zhaoxing Dong Village, or a Jiabang Terraces route. From Zhaoxing, allow about 1 hour. From Congjiang town, taking a taxi or private transfer is easier.

Decide whether you want the performance before buying tickets

If you only want to walk through the village, a lower-price entrance ticket or entrance-plus-shuttle ticket may be enough. If you want the core experiences, such as the firelock welcome, Lusheng dance, and sickle haircut performance, the entrance-plus-shuttle-plus-performance package is clearer. The common adult package price is CNY 100.

Time your arrival for the next performance

Basha is not large. The most efficient visit is to catch the gate or Lusheng Hall performance first, then follow the guided route into the village. The explanation connects the firelock culture, men's hair bun, life tree, and village customs.

Follow the explanation route after the performance

After the performance, do not leave immediately. Follow the guide or fixed route into the village to see wooden stilt houses, Lusheng Hall, tree-burial culture sites, and everyday village spaces.

Arrange your return or next stop in advance

Most visitors treat Basha as a 2-3 hour stop, then return to Congjiang, go to Zhaoxing, or continue toward Jiabang Terraces. Self-driving or a private transfer is the most flexible. If using public transport, decide your return pickup point and time before you start.
