A full-day theme park in Hongdao
Qingdao Fantawild Dreamland is in the Huqiang Cultural Industry Base on Aodong South Road in Hongdao, Chengyang District. It is a standalone full-day destination, separate from the Shinan waterfront walk. An online adult ticket is about CNY 280 and a night ticket about CNY 119, with prices changing by event. In peak season from April to October, it usually opens 09:30–17:00; July, August and holidays may extend to 21:00.
Night hours and fireworks
The usable attractions, entry period and events depend on the ticket type that day. Fireworks may be scheduled around 20:40 during summer and holidays, but weekdays do not necessarily have fireworks. Check the day's event arrangement before setting out; fireworks are not a daily fixed program.

Indoor visual rides and cultural shows
Start with Flight of the Limit, Light of Life and Magic Castle. Indoor attractions reduce exposure to sun and some outdoor queues. Liaozhai and Flooding the Jinshan combine traditional stories with stage effects, video and interactive technology, making them suitable for families and visitors interested in culture-themed attractions.
Outdoor thrill rides
Escape from Dinosaur Island is a water ride that drops from a height into water. Tanggula Snow Mountain and Fire Meteor are roller-coaster rides of different intensities. Height, safety and equipment rules limit some attractions, so check the day's requirements when traveling with children. Escape from Dinosaur Island usually requires a height of about 1.4 m.

The 7–8 hour full-day route
Enter at 09:30 and start with Flight of the Limit, Magic Castle and Flooding the Jinshan. Take a midday break, then move to Escape from Dinosaur Island, Tanggula Snow Mountain, Liaozhai and Fire Meteor, along with other outdoor or performance attractions. If there is a parade and fireworks that evening, return to the castle area after 19:00 and reach the viewing area about 30 minutes before the fireworks.
The approximately 4-hour night route
Enter around 16:00, start with Flight of the Limit and Magic Castle, then choose one of Escape from Dinosaur Island or Tanggula Snow Mountain. Finish with the parade, lights or fireworks listed for that day. Night tickets allow less time, and maintenance, queues and weather all affect how many attractions you can ride.
Get there
Metro and walking
Take Metro Line 8 to Hongdao Science Museum (Fantawild) Station, then walk or take a short taxi ride to the park. Fantawild is in the Hongdao area, so travel from Qingdao Old Town, May Fourth Square or the Olympic Sailing Center requires separate transport time.
Driving and parking
Navigate to “Qingdao Fantawild Dreamland.” The park has a large parking lot, but spaces are tight on weekends and holidays, so arrive early. After the night session, crowds leave together; include departure traffic and taxi waiting time.
Know before you go
Reservation, height limits and maintenance
Named reservation one to three days ahead through the Fantawild official app or a commonly used platform is recommended. Thrill rides have height and safety restrictions, and some facilities may close temporarily for maintenance. Check ride status and queue times after entry.
Rain gear, supplies and fireworks
Escape from Dinosaur Island leaves clothes noticeably wet, so a raincoat and shoe covers are useful. Drinks, snacks and meals inside can be expensive; bring water and a small amount of portable food. Fireworks may be scheduled only on selected summer or holiday event days, with the viewing position and time set by the on-site arrangement.
