Plan at a glance

Main gate, location, and what to expect

Biluo Tower Sea Bar Park (碧螺塔海上酒吧公园) is on the middle section of East Beach Road in Beidaihe District. Visitors generally enter through the main gate. By day, the park has blue-and-white buildings, a sea walkway, and an observation tower; at night, it hosts beach activities and performances. Allow about 2–3 hours for a short visit or around four hours to stay for sunset and the night program.

Day and night tickets

Day tickets are about RMB 40–50 and usually require entry during a specified time window. If you plan to stay from daytime until evening activities begin, ask before buying whether you need to upgrade or purchase a separate night ticket. Night tickets are about RMB 100–138 and often include the live show “Langtaosha: Beidaihe” (《浪淘沙·北戴河》). The park is open about 9:00 am–9:00 pm; night activities may continue until 10:00 pm. Check whether the show is included in your ticket for that day.

Choose your visit

Blue-and-white buildings, sea walkway, and tower

Blue-and-white buildings, colorful signs, a hot-air balloon, a white chapel, wishing bells, and a seaside photo frame are spread around the park. A wooden walkway extends over the water, and Biluo Tower offers views of the coastline. From the second-floor corridor, photograph the blue roofs and white steps from above; shoot the hot-air balloon from a low angle. The wishing-bell arch and white frame can hold the sea in the background, while the tower offers a coastal panorama.

Daytime stroll or evening activities

The daytime visit is best for photos, sea views, and the changing light toward evening. At night, there may be beach music, a bonfire, and live performances. If you want to see a show, choose a night ticket that includes it. If you only want to walk and take photos, compare the day-ticket entry window with any separately charged evening activities.

Build your day

2–3 hour photography route

Enter through the main gate and walk through the blue-and-white buildings, then see the hot-air balloon, colorful signs, and sea walkway before finishing at Biluo Tower. In the softer light from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, photograph the second-floor corridor and buildings first, then walk out to the sea. The popular photo staircase can have a long queue; the nearby walkway also has coastal viewpoints.

Around four hours for sunset and evening

Enter in the afternoon and visit the buildings, hot-air balloon, and observation tower before going to the coast for sunset. If you plan to see a performance, check what your ticket includes and the showtime. Beach parties, bonfires, and other evening activities vary by night, and sunset views depend on the weather.

Choose the right ticket

For a daytime visit, choose a day ticket. If you plan to see “Langtaosha: Beidaihe,” check whether the night ticket includes the show. Day tickets usually require entry during a specified time window; if you plan to stay from daytime into the evening program, confirm before buying whether an upgrade or separate night ticket is required.

Get there

Bus and park entrance

Take bus 15 or Tourist Route 1 to the “Biluo Tower” stop (碧螺塔站), then enter through the main gate on the middle section of East Beach Road. You can walk or cycle along the coast to Tiger Stone Sea Park (老虎石海上公园), about 2 km away. Include both the walk and your return trip in the plan.

Driving and parking

Parking is limited in peak season and costs about RMB 8 per hour. If driving, check whether the lot is open and what it charges that day. After evening activities, allow time to get your vehicle out of the parking area.

Know before you go

Showtimes and ticket prices

Day tickets are about RMB 40–50 and night tickets about RMB 100–138. “Langtaosha: Beidaihe” is usually included with some night tickets. The park is open about 9:00 am–9:00 pm, and activities may run until 10:00 pm. Check ticket prices, show inclusion, and the areas open at night against that day's ticket information.

Queues, costs, and breaks

Drinks and snacks inside the park are relatively expensive, so you can bring water. Portable power-bank rental is about RMB 8 per hour. The photo staircase can have a long queue; if you mainly want sea views, use the nearby walkway. Compare day and night tickets separately for their price, show inclusion, and permitted stay.

Sea breeze, rocks, and nearby dining

Rocks can be slippery, so watch your footing on the walkway and near the water. Bring a light jacket for the evening sea breeze. Qingshan Fandian (庆山饭店) is about 2 km away, and there are restaurants near Tiger Stone. Check seafood and set-menu prices and portions before ordering.
