Forest hot springs
The hot spring area has indoor and outdoor pools among the trees and is one of the resort’s main year-round experiences. Outdoor pools may close depending on the season and operating arrangements. You can spend time in an outdoor pool in the evening if it is open; first confirm which pools are operating and the entry rules.
Glacier Water World
Glacier Water World (冰川水世界) has water attractions such as a wave pool, slides and a lazy river, and can be paired with a hot spring visit in the same afternoon. Reference hours are about 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Some attractions may close in spring or autumn or when the weather changes, so check what is open before buying a ticket.
Dandan Amusement Park and family visits
Dandan Amusement Park has non-powered play structures, trampolines, a maze, a sandpit and a small-animal area. It may suit families with children; check activity details, age requirements and fees on site. The park is listed as closed on Mondays except public holidays. Confirm that it is open for your visit; the hot spring area and amusement park have separate operating schedules.

Short visit: water park, then hot springs
After buying admission, first confirm Glacier Water World’s hours and activities for the day, then visit the wave pool or slides. After the water attractions, spend time in the indoor or outdoor hot spring area. Have dinner at the resort or eat after leaving. Allow about 3–4 hours. With an evening ticket, check its entry time and the resort’s last-entry time.
Full visit: stay overnight and split activities across two days
Spend the first afternoon at Glacier Water World and the hot springs, then stay overnight. The next day, first check whether Dandan Amusement Park is open before visiting its non-powered facilities, sandpit and small-animal area. Allow 1–2 days for the full experience. The hot springs, water park and amusement park each have their own hours; check each item included in an accommodation package.
Separate opening hours and entry
The resort’s reference overall hours are 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m., with last entry around 7:00 p.m., but the water park, Dandan Amusement Park and pools may close earlier or seasonally. Confirm the operating area and last session for the activities you plan to visit, then choose your arrival time; the overall resort hours do not apply to every attraction.
Get there
Bus and taxi
Take bus 33 from the city to the “Shuishi Hot Spring” terminus. The reference ride takes about 40–50 minutes and costs about CNY 1–2. Check the timetable and last service before you go. A taxi from the city costs about CNY 30–40 as a reference, but it may be difficult to find one for the return trip on weekend evenings. If staying for the evening session, prioritize driving or arrange a pickup.
Driving and parking
Navigate to Shuishi Forest Hot Spring Resort. Free parking is available, but spaces depend on visitor levels. On arrival, check the parking exit and evening departure arrangements. If you are not driving, arrange a ride before leaving; do not rely on finding a taxi at the last minute.
Know before you go
Charges, lockers and personal items
A locker deposit is about CNY 30 as a reference. After returning the locker, you may need to submit a refund request manually. Tube rental is about CNY 20–30, inflating a tube costs about CNY 3–10, and the fish spa is about CNY 20; prices may change. Before paying, check how deposits are returned and what optional activities cost. You can bring a towel, slippers and toiletries. Follow that day’s rules for food brought into the resort, and do not use your own food to feed animals.
Children, facilities and food
Follow posted height, age and safety requirements for the water park, pools and slides. An adult should supervise children throughout. Showers may be in high demand at busy times; check which areas are available and how changing facilities are arranged. The on-site buffet is about CNY 68 per person as a reference; check current hours and prices.
