Entrances, tickets and hours
Longsha Park is at No. 32 Gongyuan Road. The commonly used entrances are Gate No. 1 on the south side and Gate No. 5. Admission is free and no advance booking is required. Reference hours are 7:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Guandi Temple (关帝庙) is in the park’s northeast corner and is commonly open from about 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Check whether the temple is open on the day of your visit.
How much of the park to see
Allow about one hour for the area around Wangjiang Tower (望江楼) and the lakeside path. Entering at Gate No. 5 and continuing to Shou Gong Shrine (寿公祠), the Nine-Bend Bridge (九曲桥) and Guandi Temple takes about 2–3 hours. These routes cover the gardens and historic sites within the park; Laodong Lake (劳动湖) and Longsha Zoo (龙沙动植物园) have separate routes.

Wangjiang Tower and the gardens
The area around Wangjiang Tower offers views of the lake and the park’s trees. The garden paths, Five-Dragon Pavilion (五龙亭) and Nine-Bend Bridge make for a pleasant walk. For a longer lakeside route, plan a separate visit to Laodong Lake.
Shou Gong Shrine
Shou Gong Shrine commemorates General Shoushan and is marked by its red walls and grey brickwork. You can walk from the shrine along the park paths toward Guandi Temple.
Guandi Temple: a historic site inside the park
Guandi Temple is in the northeast corner of the park. Its buildings include the main hall, the bell and drum towers, and Sanyi Hall (三义殿). Highlights include stone carvings on the gables, red walls with grey tiles, and statues and murals of Guan Yu, Guan Ping and Zhou Cang inside the halls. Keep your voice low; follow on-site rules on which halls are open and where photography is allowed.
Build your day
Short visit: Wangjiang Tower and the lakeside path
Enter through Gate No. 1, visit the area around Wangjiang Tower for lake views, then follow the lakeside path to the Five-Dragon Pavilion and return the same way. Allow about one hour. If the tower building is closed to visitors, you can still walk on the paths that remain open.
Full visit: gardens and historic buildings
Enter through Gate No. 5 and start with a walk through the garden paths. Continue to Wangjiang Tower, Shou Gong Shrine and the Nine-Bend Bridge, then finish at Guandi Temple in the northeast corner. Allow about 2–3 hours and check the temple’s opening before walking there. This completes the Longsha Park route; the multi-bridge shoreline route at Laodong Lake is a separate visit.
If Guandi Temple is your main destination, enter through Gate No. 1 and follow the lakeside path past Shou Gong Shrine and Wangjiang Tower to the temple in the northeast corner. Allow about 30 minutes at the temple. Visit during its daytime opening hours, then follow the park paths back to your chosen exit.
Time at Guandi Temple
Allow about 30 minutes to see the main hall, Sanyi Hall, the bell and drum towers, and the stone carvings on the gables. Keep quiet inside the temple. Incense and other paid offerings are optional.

Buses and entrances
City buses including routes 1, 2, 3 and 5 serve the area around Longsha Park. “Longsha Park” and “Longsha Primary School” are possible stops; check current bus information for the stop used by your route. Search for “Longsha Park” and choose Gate No. 1 or Gate No. 5 based on your walking route. Guandi Temple has no separate entrance from outside the park.
To reach Guandi Temple, buses 2, 11, 14, 15 and 101 serve the “Longsha Park” or “Longsha Primary School” area, followed by a walk from a park entrance to the northeast corner. Stops vary by route, so confirm where to get off and choose the stop closest to your planned entrance.
Parking and walking inside the park
Parking around the park can be limited. Check parking locations and fees before setting out. You will need to walk between the park’s sights; allow enough time to reach Guandi Temple in the northeast corner. There are many mosquitoes by the lake in summer, so bring insect repellent.

Opening hours and site boundaries
Reference hours are 7:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. for the park and about 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. for Guandi Temple. Confirm both schedules for the day. The small-animal area inside the park is separate from Longsha Zoo, which has a different location and its own admission ticket.
Food and a walk afterward
Longsha Morning Market and Night Market are outside Gate No. 2; the morning market’s reference hours are 5:00–8:00 a.m. Stall availability and night-market hours vary, so check on site. Laodong Lake makes a separate lakeside walk. The Longsha Park route covers Wangjiang Tower, Shou Gong Shrine, the Nine-Bend Bridge and Guandi Temple; the multi-bridge route at Laodong Lake is planned separately.
