Zhusha Ancient Town is not a traditional canal-style old town. It was transformed from the Wanshan mercury mine heritage area, so the main interest is mine tunnels, old factory compounds, a museum, and mid-20th-century streets.
Tip:If you expect a Jiangnan-style old town with rivers, bridges, and waterside lanes, this is a very different place.
