Location, tickets and daytime hours

Holland Flower Park is at 1 Huaihai West Road in Xinfeng Town, Dafeng District, Yancheng. The south gate is the practical entrance for a regular visit because most facilities are concentrated there. Daytime hours are 08:30–17:30, with entry stopping at 17:00; adult admission is listed at CNY 50, online bookings are often around CNY 45, students and visitors aged 60–70 pay CNY 25 with valid identification, and children under 1.4 m and visitors over 70 enter free.

The grounds are large. Allow 1.5–2 hours for a quick route and about 3 hours for a fuller daytime visit. Night sessions may be added during flower seasons, holidays or summer events, but their hours and activities depend on the day.

Seasons and suitable visitors

The main flowers change by season: tulips are the main spring display from about March to May, verbena, sunflowers and lotus are common from about June to August, and lilies and cosmos are more typical from September to October. Photographers, families, couples and visitors interested in evening interactive events can choose different routes around the same park.

Daytime flower fields and architecture

Lotus Market, the thousand-mu flower fields, the Dutch windmill and St. Lawrence Cultural Centre form a practical first-visit route. The flower fields in front of the cultural centre, the lakeside lawn and the windmill are reliable photo locations. The flower parade has reference times of 11:00 and 15:00, but the exact schedule depends on the day.

Night sessions and separately ticketed shows

Summer may bring the limited “Love the Night Flower Sea” programme. The event period is roughly July 17 to August 23 and may include lights, an interactive role-play experience, fire dancing or fireworks; Friday and Saturday fireworks also depend on the day’s programme. Night sessions run only during specified holiday or event periods. “Only Love” Theatre Fantasy City (《只有爱·戏剧幻城》) requires a separate ticket and suits visitors making the immersive show their main reason for coming.

Families can add the family area and pet park. Photographers can adjust their time between the flower fields, windmill, church and lakeside lawn. The display changes outside the main flower seasons, so match the travel dates to the flowers you want to see.

Build your day

1.5–2 hours: south-gate daytime route

Enter through the south gate and follow the main path clockwise past Lotus Market, the main flower fields and the Dutch windmill, finishing at St. Lawrence Cultural Centre before returning toward the south gate. This route suits visitors who mainly want the flowers, architecture and key photo spots.

About 3 hours: flowers, cultural centre and family area

From the south gate, visit Lotus Market, the thousand-mu flower fields, the Dutch windmill and St. Lawrence Cultural Centre. Add the flower parade if it is scheduled, then pass through the family area before leaving by the south gate. The main display changes by season, so follow the areas open that day.

Night route

Enter after 16:30 only when the park has announced a night session or themed event. Finish any daytime flower-field stops first, then follow the lighting route after 19:00 to the interactive role-play, fire-dance or night-parade areas. Connect fireworks and shows to the timetable for that day.

Get there

Driving and parking

Navigate to “Holland Flower Park” or “Holland Flower Park Car Park”; the main car park is large and free. If it is full on a holiday, consider parking near the All Seasons Hotel (Holland Flower Park branch) and walking about 2–5 minutes to the ticket gate. If a shuttle is operating, follow the parking-area instructions.

From Dafeng Railway Station

After arriving at Yancheng Dafeng Railway Station, a taxi takes about 20 minutes to the park. You can also check the day’s direct bus service. Because the grounds are large, leave enough time for the return rather than relying on the last shuttle or a last-minute ride-hailing car.

Know before you go

Sun, insects and walking

The flower fields are open and have limited shade, and the park is busy in peak season. Bring sun protection, insect repellent and drinking water; entering on a weekday or close to opening time makes the route easier to manage.

Flower Tokens and food

The park’s Flower Token games may involve a stake and winning or losing money, so understand the rules before joining. Lotus Market and Windmill Restaurant offer snacks and simple meals; bring extra supplies if you plan to stay for several hours.
