The park, museum and free admission
Railway Guerrillas Memorial Park is at the eastern end of Linshan Road in Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang. It is an open park built around Linshan. The exterior park area can be visited all day; the Railway Guerrillas Memorial Museum is open Tuesday–Sunday from 09:00–17:00, with last admission at 16:30. It is closed on Mondays except national public holidays.
Admission to the Memorial Park is free. To enter the museum, present your original ID card or make a real-name free reservation through the “Railway Guerrillas Scenic Area” WeChat mini-program. The Film City is next door and has separate paid admission and performance reservations.
How much time to allow
Allow 1–1.5 hours for the museum, memorial monument and hero sculptures. A 2–3 hour route can start at the West Gate or main entrance, continue through the museum, Memorial Square, Generals' Stele Gallery and Linshan Pavilion, and finish at the East Gate.
The main focus is the museum, monument and hillside walk. Visitors who want live performances, period streets or interactive activities should plan the neighbouring Film City as a separate paid stop.

Museum displays and railway history
The museum's basic exhibition is “An Anti-Japanese War Legend on the Railway Line” (《铁道线上的抗日传奇》), covering about 6,000 square metres in six sections. The entrance hall contains a real steam locomotive, and the museum includes reconstructed scenes such as “Seizing the Gun from a Moving Train” (《飞车夺枪》) and “Blood-Stained Foreign Firm” (《血染洋行》). It suits visitors who want a structured introduction to the Railway Guerrillas' history.
The museum requires an ID card for admission and is closed on Mondays. The open park, monument and exterior hillside paths follow a separate schedule from the museum. There is little food inside the museum, so arrange water and meals before or after the visit.
Monument, stele gallery and hillside view
The Railway Guerrillas Memorial Monument is about 33 metres high and topped by a bronze figure of a guerrilla fighter. The Memorial Square is the main exterior stop. The Generals' Stele Gallery and Linshan Pavilion lie along the hillside route, and the pavilion overlooks Xuecheng.
History-focused visitors can make the museum and monument the main stops. Visitors who enjoy a short climb or city views can continue to the Generals' Stele Gallery and Linshan Pavilion. These routes involve different amounts of walking, so choose according to the weather and your group.
Build your day
1–1.5 hour memorial route
Enter through the West Gate or main entrance, visit the Railway Guerrillas Memorial Museum first, then continue to the memorial monument and hero sculptures before leaving. The museum is open until 17:00 and stops admitting visitors at 16:30; check admission as soon as you arrive.
This route suits visitors with limited time who mainly want the Railway Guerrillas history. Separating the museum and exterior park stops keeps time for the exhibition without adding the hillside route.
2–3 hour hillside route
Enter through the West Gate, visit the museum first, then continue to Memorial Square, the Generals' Stele Gallery and Linshan Pavilion before leaving through the East Gate. This route combines the indoor history displays, exterior memorial spaces and the hillside view.
Linshan Pavilion is uphill, with steps and slopes. In rain or high temperatures, shorten the route and leave time to descend before any Film City performance. The Film City's South Gate is a separate entrance.
Combining the Film City
After finishing the Memorial Park route, you can move from the East Gate area toward the Film City's South Gate. The Film City's ticket, live performances and mini-program reservations belong to that separate site; the Park route treats it as a nearby extension.
If you plan to see a Film City performance, fix the show time first and then choose the Memorial Park's 1–1.5 hour short route or 2–3 hour full route. The Memorial Park does not host “The Surrender at Shagou” or “Railway Storm,” which are Film City productions.
Get there
From the railway stations and city area
From Zaozhuang Railway Station or Zaozhuang West Railway Station, take a bus or taxi. A taxi ride is about 10–15 minutes. Bus options include BRT B1 to the “Railway Guerrillas” stop and city routes 2, 3, 6 and 101; from the stop, walk toward the Memorial Park archway or Linshan Park.
Driving and parking
Navigate to “Railway Guerrillas Memorial Park” or “Linshan Park.” Parking is available nearby, but holiday traffic and spaces may be tight. Public transport or a taxi makes it easier to meet the museum's last-admission time when parking is difficult.
The entrance is marked by the “Railway Guerrillas Memorial Park” archway. If you also visit the Film City, confirm where the car is parked and the walking direction to the Film City's South Gate.

Visitor conduct and walking conditions
This is a historical memorial site. Keep quiet inside the museum, do not touch exhibits, and follow the exhibition-room photography rules without using flash. Memorial Square, the Generals' Stele Gallery and Linshan Pavilion are exterior stops; wear shoes suitable for steps and slopes.
There is little food inside the Park or museum. Eat in Xuecheng District or the Zaozhuang urban area. Holiday parking and the museum's last-admission time are the two main schedule constraints, so set the day's order around them.
