Entrance, navigation and opening hours
Xionger Mountain Geopark is in Maozhai Village, Beizhuang Town, Shanting District, Zaozhuang. The walking route starts at the East Gate. For driving, use “Xionger Mountain Geopark North Gate” as the navigation target, then confirm the actual parking and open entrance using the signs on the day.
The reference adult ticket is CNY 60, and students can receive half-price admission with a student ID. No advance reservation is required; enter on site with an ID card. Reference peak-season hours from April to October are 08:30–17:30, and off-season hours from November through March are 08:30–16:30.
How much time to allow
A 2–3 hour route goes from the East Gate to the Double Dragon Rift, crosses the rift and then lets you decide whether to enter Huanglong Cave before following the signs downhill. A 3–4 hour route adds Dragon Claw Cliff, One-Line Sky, the 360-degree Viewing Platform and Crouching Tiger Cave.
The Double Dragon Rift is about 500 metres long, and its narrowest section allows only sideways passage. Wet steps, narrow passages and low light inside the rift can affect the walking speed and time.

Double Dragon Rift and geological route
The Double Dragon Rift is the main geological feature. The route includes One-Line Sky, Dragon Claw Cliff, the 360-degree Viewing Platform and Crouching Tiger Cave. The narrowest section allows only sideways passage, making this a better fit for visitors who are comfortable with short, confined walking sections.
Huanglong Cave requires a separate ticket and may add backtracking. The downhill slide may also be suspended. Treat both as optional activities for the day and complete the Double Dragon Rift and main mountain path first.
Who it suits
Geology and nature enthusiasts can choose the 3–4 hour full route. Visitors with some hiking experience are better suited to the narrow rift. Families and slower walkers should consider the width, steps and light conditions before entering the deeper sections.
Baodugu suits summit views and forest paths, while Xionger Mountain suits a geological-rift visit. The two parks can be combined, but prepare shoes, water and time for each terrain separately.
Build your day
2–3 hour rift route
Enter through the East Gate and follow the path to the Double Dragon Rift. Cross the main rift, then decide whether to enter Huanglong Cave according to your energy and the day's operation. Huanglong Cave requires a separate ticket and may involve backtracking; with limited time, finish after the rift.
Wet steps and narrow sections can slow the route. Wear non-slip shoes, and with children or older visitors, assess the conditions at the entrance before going farther.
3–4 hour full route
After entering, pass Dragon Claw Cliff, continue through the Double Dragon Rift and One-Line Sky, climb to the 360-degree Viewing Platform, then visit Crouching Tiger Cave and descend by the other route. This sequence combines the narrow rift, the viewpoint and the cave in one mountain route.
If the downhill slide is open, choose it after completing the main paths. When the slide is suspended, return by the walking path and calculate the descent time accordingly.
Combining Baodugu
Baodugu and Xionger Mountain are close enough for a same-day or two-day driving trip. Baodugu involves the summit and cableway or slide descent; Xionger Mountain involves rift walking and narrow passages. For a same-day plan, make one a full route and the other a short route.
If Xionger Mountain is the afternoon stop, keep time for walking through the rift, parking and the return drive. The two parks have separate tickets and entrances.

Driving and parking
For driving, navigate to “Xionger Mountain Geopark North Gate”; the walking route starts at the East Gate. After arrival, follow the signs to confirm the parking point and the actual open entrance. The reference parking fee is CNY 10 per day, and the parking area is usually near an entrance.
Public transport and walking inside
Buses from central Zaozhuang can reach the area, but services are infrequent. Public-transport visitors should plan both the outbound and return trips in advance. Inside the park, movement is mainly on foot, with continuous mountain paths from the East Gate to the Double Dragon Rift, viewing platform and Crouching Tiger Cave.

The Double Dragon Rift has wet steps, narrow passages and low light. Wear non-slip shoes and consider carrying gloves or a small flashlight. The narrowest point allows only sideways passage, and a large backpack or stroller makes the route more difficult.
Food options inside the park are limited. Bring water and a small amount of food. Before entering the rift, check the weather, your footwear and the return time; after rain or in poor light, shorten the route.
