Start at the visitor center and arrange the mountain transfer
Loushan Pass itself is free to enter, but the main sights are spread across the mountain area. Visitors usually enter through the visitor center and use the scenic shuttle, with CNY 50 as the main transfer reference.
Walk down from Xifeng Platform if you want an easier route
A smooth route is to take the shuttle up to Xifeng Platform first, see the high mountain view, then walk down toward Changkong Bridge, the battle site, the monument, cliff inscriptions, and the exhibition hall.
Allow 3-4 hours
A quick visit to the core points can be shorter, but if you want to walk the battle site slowly, photograph Changkong Bridge, and see the exhibition hall and Poetry Hall, a half-day plan works better.
Choose clear weather for the high viewpoints
Xifeng Platform and Changkong Bridge depend heavily on visibility. Clear days or moments when mist lifts give a better sense of the mountain layers and pass terrain.
