Yuehai Park is at No. 2 Binhai Avenue. It is an open coastal park with free entry and no reservation; the park area is listed as open all day. Its main stops are the lighthouse, seagrass-house buildings, children's area, flower beds, sea-facing swing and the northern shoreline where seabirds gather.
Allow 1–1.5 hours for a short route or 2–3 hours for a north-to-south walk and relaxed visit. The lighthouse and swing are busier on weekend and holiday evenings; choose early morning or a weekday for quieter photographs.

Lighthouse, seagrass houses and flower beds
The red-and-white lighthouse is the park's visual center, with seagrass houses and flower beds nearby for building, portrait and sea photography. The sea-facing swing suits silhouette photographs, the children's area is better for families, and the northern shore is for seabird and sea views.
Visitors who enjoy a city beach walk, family time and light photography can spend half a day here. The café, tennis court and restaurants are optional services; the park itself remains a free public space.

A 1–1.5 hour lighthouse route
Enter from any point, go directly to the lighthouse, then stop at the sea-facing swing and seagrass-house area before walking north along the shore. If time is limited, the lighthouse, swing and seagrass houses form the shortest useful route.
A 2–3 hour north-to-south route
Enter from the south, pass the children's area, then visit the lighthouse, flower beds and seagrass houses before following the shore to the northern seabird area. Continue on foot to Weihai Park from the north, or connect south to Haiyang Park or Hanlefang; allow for the actual roads and your group's walking pace.

Bus, parking and walking
Buses 10 and K7 stop at Weihai Park. Walk south along the coastal path for about 10–15 minutes to reach Yuehai Park. Drivers can navigate to “Yuehai Park Lighthouse West Parking Point” or “Haihui Parking Lot”; the reference price is CNY 2 per hour.
The park has no fixed main gate, and the lighthouse, seagrass houses and flower beds are connected by walking paths. Parking can be tight in peak periods; after parking, following the coastal path into the park is clearer than looking for a single entrance.
Know before you go
Crowds and weather
The main photo points are busier on weekend and holiday evenings, while early morning and the light before sunset work well for the lighthouse, swing and flower beds. Summer sun is strong by the coast, so bring water and sun protection for a longer walk.
Café, seabirds and other services
The café beside the lighthouse can be used as a rest stop, but its prices and seating follow the business's daily arrangements. The northern shore is suitable for watching seabirds; feeding is not guaranteed, and keeping a distance is better. Tennis, food and children's facilities are separate services with their own opening and use rules.
