Island access, tickets and opening times
Delta Island is off Xunliao Bay, with departures commonly from Mozishi Park Pier or Nangang No. 2 Pier. Access is only by speedboat, taking around 10–15 minutes each way. A return speedboat and island ticket costs about CNY 119–138, with advance booking generally better than buying on site.
Fixed departures are usually around 9:30 and 14:30. Missing them can mean waiting for shared passengers, paying a supplement or hiring a private boat; private boats cost around CNY 350–680 per boat. The earliest island arrivals are around 8:00, with the final departure generally around 17:00–18:00, so the return boat must take priority in your schedule.

4–6 hours: one-day island route
Mozishi Park → speedboat to the island → Changsha Beach → lunch → glass-bottom coral boat or watersports → hilltop lookout → Guifei Pool → return boat. Take the earlier boat, around 9:30, where possible to gain a more relaxed amount of island time.
Two-day, one-night route
Arrive before midday on day one and check in, spend the afternoon at Changsha Beach and the hilltop for sunset, then walk the beach after dinner. On day two, see sunrise, snorkel, rest at Guifei Pool, then leave after lunch. This separates beach time, snorkelling and sunset rather than compressing them into one afternoon.
Coastal weekend combination
Day one: Xunliao Bay → Delta Island → sunset. Day two: Shuangyue Bay, including the Dashingshan viewing platform and Sea Turtle Bay → return. The two coastal areas are far enough apart that they should not be squeezed into one daylight period.

Key island stops
Changsha Beach is the main zone for swimming, sand and watersports. The glass-bottom boat or snorkelling can show coral and fish, while the lookout and Lighthouse Café area provide whole-island views. Lighthouse Café generally opens around 15:30 and works as an afternoon photography stop.
Two-day accommodation rhythm
Use the first afternoon for the beach and sunset, then reserve snorkelling, Guifei Pool and the return trip for the following morning and afternoon. Do not delay the return for photographs to the point that you miss the final boat.

Driving and pier parking
Navigate to Mozishi Park Parking Lot or Nangang No. 2 Pier; parking costs around CNY 20 per day. From Huidong Station, a taxi to the pier takes around 30 minutes and costs about CNY 80–100.
Boat schedules and private boats
Fixed boats are limited, so shared-boat or private-boat choices require extra waiting and return-time allowance. Private boats cost around CNY 350–680 per boat and work best for larger groups with clear arrival and departure times.
Know before you go
Footwear, supplies and spending
Rocky areas have loose stones and shells, so wear non-slip water shoes rather than walking barefoot. Food and supplies on the island are limited and more expensive; bring water, snacks, fruit, sun protection and insect repellent.
Weather, light and return timing
Clear weather gives better sea colour and underwater views; cloudy conditions noticeably reduce the visual effect. Earlier boats are quieter and light is softer after 16:00, but the final boat departure must remain the first priority.
